Very friendly people, but improper tailoring practices (per my new tailor)…read more When taking in slacks and skirts, they did not measure to make it even, which can be seen from the distance between back pockets and center seam. I took them to a different seamstress and she measured them to be off by a third an inch, and explained to me that it appeared the fabric was taken in from one side versus both sides. This causes the back of the slacks to look pinched at the center seam, like the fitness influencer butt scrunch shorts. They also forgot to add the back belt loops back on. My new tailor is trying to fix them, but she told me that ATG did not leave any fabric to let them back out and is recommending I throw out these pants altogether. I think these women are very nice and were friendly, and that's why I am giving 2-stars. But I paid around $800 to get several skirts, slacks, and jackets taken in. For the price, I wish they had been more detail oriented with measuring out exact lengths, and I wish they'd left some fabric for future alterations (which I have been told is typical practice).

I have unfortunately had a nightmarish experience tailoring my wedding dress. The first tailor…read morebasically botched my dress, and then a family friend with tailoring experience helped me out and un-did as much of the tailoring as she was able. After taking my bridal portraits I was very uncomfortable, adjusting my dress constantly, and nearly tripping. I knew I couldn't go like this to my wedding. I called Agape and she told me to bring the dress in the same day and promised a quick turn-around time. I believe the owners name is Joy, and she is so kind and helpful. She made a great suggestion to make me more comfortable in my dress and also took the hem up further so I could walk comfortably. I work early hours, so she agreed to meet me early in the morning on a weekend so that I could get my dress ASAP. She also brought up the neckline on another dress I'm using for my wedding. Her turnaround time is impressive and her pricing is very fair. She does not try to upsell you and will not alter things that she doesn't see necessary. I am so, so, so grateful to her for making me feel comfortable in my wedding dress. I only wish she had been my first stop! I will bring any items I need tailored to Agape in the future. In fact, I already have a 2027 wedding on the calendar, so when I get my dress I'll be back!

Unfortunately they didn't shorten the dress shirts to the agreed lengths I believe it was a miss…read morecommunication due to asking for an extra step which I told them the length was more important and if they couldn't save the embroidery it was ok as long as it was the proper length. The older short lady was pretty argumentative and if they were to fix the mistake they would charge double the price? If cut to the agreed length with or without the embroidery it would have been fine, I told them the length was the "more important" reason for the alteration.

On 7/14 he said tomorrow for sure. On 7/15 I wasn't able to reach him on his business line, there was a recording saying he wasn't accepting calls at the time. He had given us a very small piece of paper that included his cell phone number. I tried that number and it also said he wasn't accepting calls at the time. On 7/16 I tried the two numbers again with the same recording, saying he wasn't accepting calls. My husband went to the location and was told they weren't ready yet. Tomorrow for sure. On 7/17 my husband went to pick them up and amazingly they were "ready". My husband tried them on quickly, assumed they were OK and left. He tried them on again when he got home and we noticed that one jacket had a shoulder that drooped a little and the sleeves had not been hemmed, with the chalk mark still very visible. We took it back and were told it needed an extra shoulder pad, just needed some taking in and he could fix it - we said no more! We would never leave anything there again. We insisted on some of the money back that we paid in cash when we dropped off the two jackets. He gave us $60 back out of $200 and we took the jacket to a reputable tailor. I would have had more patience but this man blocked my number from BOTH his business phone and his cell phone. That is a very bad way to run a business.

Came in to pick up next day just for him to tell me he's busy and that he needs another day at which point I just asked for my pants back. He offered no refund for the botch job or the inconvenience. Horrible tailor and customer service! The place is a pig sty! Do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache and your money.
