At no point did anyone verbally tell me I was applying for a credit card, nor did they show me any written disclosures. Later, I discovered they had actually signed me up for a credit card without my knowledge or consent. When I called to request copies of the paperwork or any disclosures, they were unable to provide anything showing that I was informed or that the required terms were presented. Regulation Z, the Truth in Lending Act, requires clear disclosure of APR, fees, and terms to be provided before a credit card application is submitted. None were given to me, and they couldn't produce any documentation afterward. Very disappointing and not the level of transparency customers deserve. They also qouted me $2,000 above the price of the same ring another local jewler was able to custom make for me.

Show up at 4:20pm- store is closed. Called and left a voicemail. David calls me with the most sour "I hate my life tone in his voice" asking "Where does it say online we are open until 5pm?!" I told him, Google. He said "Well I don't know where you're getting your information but it's wrong!" Then proceeds to talk to me like I'm a peasant about purchasing a timepiece. Then explains Rolex pulled out of West Texas and there is no where to buy them out here anymore. Although his store is still baptized in Rolex logos and Rolex green. I went into the store since they are an authorized dealer, this was my biggest mistake. The woman whose name I don't remember because of her lack of knowledge was beyond useless after she stated she has many years in the industry. She said that Tag usually only has 3-6 months warranty for their digital watches and that I would have to pay for the repair. She also said that it would take 12-14 weeks for a turnaround if they sent it off. She directed me to take the watch to a IPhone repair place of all places. I called Tag and they said my watch had 2 year warranty and to send it to them for a 2 week turnaround. The Jared salesman also stated that my watch should never be put under water even though it is a dive watch.‍ I told Tag to pull their dealer recognition from them for their total lack of knowledge and piss poor customer service skills. She told me there was no one that could help resolve the issue that came from bad information given in their store about a purchase I was going to make but backed out on because they would not honor the promotion. I said I would call corporate online then and have a talk with them about my experience since she already informed me they wouldn't simply email her, which clearly would go jo where since her response was part of the issue as well. I went ahead and called online anyways. I was listened to. I was treated kindly. And to top it off they were able to honor the promotion and help resolve the issue that occurred in store. So, my order is now on the way, but I will never return to that location again since they were clearly incapable of resolving issues "in store" (which is how the manager said online would tell me it needed to be handled) ... but this location. was more than willing to take my time and go ahead and place my order if i ordered double the charms required according to the promotion -meaning if I was willing to pay double what I needed to and buy things I didn't want. Im glad I reached out to online despite the manager telling me no one else would be able to either since she wouldn't. Seems to me that she cared more about trying to make double the money out of an already costly order than creating a culture of good customer care. James avery is already top of the line so the product doesn't need to be pushed, but real customer care in stores should be. After all, isn't that what they are known for? The ladies behind the counter were not the issue. It was the manager who was the issue, and she clearly cares 0% about being helpful.

Not only was the women on the phone completely disrespectful, but the "manager" on duty, Kimberly, was completely out of line. The way they treated me and my husband, I am honestly embarrassed for the owners of James Avery. If I had a staff running my business like the way Midlands staff is, I would shut the location down completely. I have been a JA customer for 10+ years and I have been to locations all around Texas, and after this experience, I will never go back. My bracelet has been in their possession for 15 days. 15 DAYS. And when asked for a time, their reply was that it will be there when it will be there. Rude and so pathetic. No tracking number and no remorse or any since of descent customer service. We still have yet to receive any information on when we will get my bracelet back but by this point, we are completely done with James Avery. Do better.
