I just bought a Ford Expedition to take down the Baja and discovered a problem with a headlight that I thought was a simple bulb issue. It turned out to be a wiring and ground issue I wasn't equipped for as I'm from out of town and without my tools. The guys and GS helped me in a pinch close to closing time and figured out the issue (jimmy rigged by prior owner) in good time. They put me back on the road at a fair price. Highly recommend these guys and they provide a wide variety of automotive services. read more

Called Vinny to look over my work on my dad's car. Long story short, I kept my dad's car at my place and went ham on it and changed the whole suspension from front to back. I'm not a mechanic, I just like to turn wrenches on my cars on weekends. Anyway, Vinny and his team took care of my dad's 99 Honda CRV and went over every nut and bolt. He even said he would check the AC because it wasn't blowing as cold as it should. Turns out it was low on the refrigerant and I hadn't noticed because the car was sitting for so long I didn't drive it during the summer while repairing it. Handled the car very nicely and I came to pick it up within a few days. So impressed with him and the team I brought my own Civic to drop off while picking up dad's car to fix my air conditioning. Both cars are blowing ice and running great! He diagnosed the Civic within a couple hours and had the car ready the next day. I wasn't even ready to pick it up! I had to come after to work to grab the car but he was a true gentleman. Very nice, and honest folks, I highly recommend coming here. I got the feeling he doesn't just want to charge you and get you on your way for a quick buck. I felt he wants to build relationships with his clientele and actually help them. He's very mature in understanding the business portion of clientele relationships. Ask him about his referrals, you'd be surprised how many people he knows! He's got a guy for everything, just ask him, what's the worst that can happen? He's going to say he doesn't know. But trust me, he knows. He's down to earth and he's doing right by the Big Man Upstairs. Vinny! I'm coming back with my other cars! Be prepared! LOL! Hope this review was helpful to everyone searching for an honest mechanic. I know "honest" and "mechanic" don't go together in one sentence LOL. I got screwed by the guy before Vinny so I'm still sore about that. Vinny's the only one touching my cars, I don't trust anyone else. read more

Vinny reached out immediately when I needed assistance for my daughter's catalyst replacement . The dedication and service was nothing but exceptional. This is where I am bringing all my cars from now on. Awesome service!!! read more

I sent an inquiry to a handful of help businesses about refreshing my mom's car A/C and GS Automotive was the first to respond. I also asked about a check engine light that kept coming on and off and they said it won't be a problem. They were able to find potential causes for the code that the other shop I've been to couldn't detect and explained the process for fixing it. Vinny runs his shop with full transparency and his prices are extremely reasonable. He and his crew will treat your car as if it is their own and won't try to upsell you on things you don't have to do. Highly recommended! read more

I'm glad I found GS Automotive. I'm always looking for a good and honest auto mechanic and with GS Automotive, I found it. I went to other shop for quotes to replace my lower ball joints and the other shops wanted too much and wanted to replace more than what was needed. With GS Automotive, Vincent and his crew just replaced what was needed to be replaced and the cost was very good compare to what other shops wanted to charge me. I will be bringing my other cars to GS Automotive for basic maintenance like oil change, and other repairs in the future. Thank you GS Automotive. read more

Up front about what they can and can't do. I drove over while being assured that the drive would be worth the trip. It wasn't

I needed a transmission replacement in my van, so I inquired about their services through Yelp. Vinny reached out very quickly and was able to get me a couple options to pick from. Turnaround was fast, and prices were more than fair. I'll be coming back for brakes and tires soon. read more

Vinnie and his top notch crew located the broken tire sensors, replaced them and inspected my tires, all for a great price. Got my widow fixed here the service was fast and the price was great. Thank you for the service

Found GM Automotive on Yelp because I needed my headlights replaced. I got in contact with Vincent, the owner, and right away he gave me a really fair price. I actually contacted him almost two weeks before I finally came in because I had to order the bulbs, ended up getting the wrong ones, and then tried replacing them myself. I quickly realized it was a little outside of what I could do and figured I should just let a professional handle it. I drive home from work at night, so driving without my lights working right had me stressing every time I was on the road. Thanks to Vincent and his team, I finally feel safe driving at night again. Really good customer service, really fair price, and just an overall good experience. Vincent was cool and easy to work with. Definitely happy I found this shop on Yelp and I'll be coming back if I need anything else done. read more

Solid, honest work from Vince/GS Automotive. I brought my vehicle 2002 Toyota Tundra in for major engine work, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Vince was available to answer every question I had, and he was very clear about the process. There was a slight delay due to some unexpected part failures, but he communicated that clearly and handled it perfectly. He did exactly what he promised, provided great value, and the engine is running great. Highly recommend for any serious engine repairs. read more

Vincent knows how to fully inspect vehicles, not just under the hood, but the body, interior and accessories too. His knowledge of engines, transmissions, and everything under the hood plus his computer equipment that checks diagnostics for cleared and hidden codes is well worth his insight. Whether or not you accept his findings as helpful or not, he is just trying to give an unbiased report which in most cases will save a buyer much headache and money. read more

Went for a repair on a CV Joint, but after going on a drive with one of the mechanics, they were able to identify it was an issue with a wheel bearing. Ordered the part right then and there and worked on the vehicle in less than 30 minutes. Was able to get my car within the next hour, didn't even have to leave the shop and price was extremely affordable. read more
