I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, wipers, and brakes. While the oil change and wipers were handled, the brake job hit a snag because their parts supplier delivered defective hardware. Since I was on a strict time crunch, I couldn't wait and was instructed by the staff to return on Monday morning to finish the job. When I called Monday morning, no notes had been passed on. After being left on a long hold by an employee named Juan, I had to call back to speak directly with the manager. While I understand mechanics arrive at 9:00 AM, being told to return for a pre-arranged follow-up only to find no preparation or readiness to accommodate a tight schedule is frustrating. To make matters worse, upon arriving at the shop, Juan didn't realize he had just spoken with me on the phone and attempted to charge me another $513 for the brakes--even though I had already paid over $500 for them on Saturday. A mix-up with parts can happen to anyone, but the total lack of internal communication, failure to honor the returning schedule, and the attempt to double-charge for a prepaid service is unacceptable. I hope management addresses these operational breakdowns so other customers don't experience this.

I actually called to verify at 951-766-5447 the Hemet California store spoke to Ken. He assured me that it was the correct price and even quoted the price with tax to be $42.00. I made an appointment showed up a little late but was taken care of very quickly. The price I was given was over $60.00 I drove from Idyllwild to get the special price and was told that did not exist so I had no choice but to let them do the service at this higher cost Didn't take long the technician did a through inspection of the brakes rear drums were removed and cleaned out tires were rotated filter and oil changed filled with synthetic oil to my specifications I was surprised to see him take off down the street in my car !! He drove it down the street for a test drive and in the process lost a wheel cover I noticed that when he parked it back at the store. We then went out to see if we could find it on the side of the road. Got lucky and recovered it. I was not happy about the cost so I noticed a poster that said if I applied for a credit card the oil change was free. I did apply instantly got the card approval and they zeroed out the bill. Free is better than $60. The service is great the employees are really nice people but I deducted a because they advertised one price and then charged me a higher priced service, that did not sit right with me and they did not honor that lower price even after I verified it before going to the store it's the only reason I went there to get that special discount Had they honored the special discount price they would have gotten a 5 star review I've returned home and added 8 ounces of prolube to the engine as per my instructions they put 1/4 quart less oil in the engine so that I could add prolube when I got home. I highly recommend this additive as my engine has 172,000 miles on it and with the new oil and prolube it is like a purring like a kitten. P S I also got a quote for a tow dolly tire which was much higher than I expected or wanted to spend.
