Carnitas, Al Pastor, Barbacoa, and Asada. I loved them in that order. I probably wouldn't do the asada again. There's nothing wrong with it but it's just standard and I'd rather repeat one of the other 3. The meat in them was perfectly seasoned, tons of flavor, great texture. They have a little salsa bar to get some sauces. Green and orange were very hot which I love so they were perfect for me! Also a mild one to choose and sliced radishes and cucumbers which I love stuffing radishes onto my tacos. We showed up 20 min before close and it was no problem. Very welcoming. It took longer than expected to get the food being as we were the only ones in there but that told me they cooked it all fresh and took care in the preparation. Not just thrown in a basket and here ya go be quick and get going! One of the employees came to chat with us for a while and just ask about where we were from etc and we had a pleasant conversation with her. We won't soon forget this place and will be back again!

The chipotle sauce was like a bbq sauce...very tasty. Carnitas had good flavor but could use a sauce, which they have options. The fried chicken tender on the southern taco lacked flavor. If you're a fan of fish tacos from Rubio's in California, these are meat identical flavor. The red snapper was fresh and flaky. And there's many more taco options. We had a training server but he was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu and options. And then there's the margaritas. Had the hibiscus 'rita. Priced very well and better than other restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back.

Everything started out ok - our waitress was sweet and attentive when we first sat down. However, once we ordered, we waited and waited for the food. After 45 minutes, we explained that we either needed our food or we'd like the bill for our chips so we could go to another place to eat. After that, the food appeared pretty quickly. Unfortunately, the food was truly bad - no salt, and very, very bland. I especially have to mention the beef...we ordered a carne asada taco and a fajita taco (the fajita taco description mentioned having "ribeye") and the meat in both was awful. It could be squeezed into mush between my fingers. Again, the staff was friendly enough, and I think they tried their best to make up for the long wait, which we appreciate, but to wait that long and the food be SO subpar just really made for a bad meal. I would try and find another place to eat when you visit Hot Springs.
