Here's the deal we were lost as heck when we first came in but so thankful for the nice workers who…read morehelped us out. If you have a lot of metal when you first enter you will stick to your right because you will drive over the area that says " Truck Scale" they will prompt you when to move onto the scale. They weigh your truck and by looking right they give you a green light to go ahead. After you get the green light you drive towards the back where you unload all your metal. Once your done you will go back to the truck scale and weigh your truck without the metal. After your done you will park anywhere get off and stand in line at the cashier so they can give you a check for the amount of your metal. Now if you selling cans/ scrap stuff that isn't as large you' would drive in get off and then get asstaince that way but since we had large metal pieces our process was different. It is a crazy little process but nonetheless an experience to understand.

Like so many yelpers have already mentioned, you do need to make an appointment which is not at all difficult. I actually called in the morning on a weekday and got an appointment within three hours. The number to call is 512-974-4343. On my visit I brought all kinds of paint, fuel additive, cleaning agents, lubricants, and pesticides. To be honest, I thought they were going to charge me something for this collection of environmentally damaging products, but I offloaded everything onto their carts in a matter of minutes and was on my way.
