Purchased a $100 HV Potential Amazon mystery box and a $109 Unclaimed Mail mystery box, what a waste of money. I understand the risks involved of mystery boxes, and I fully accept my lose regarding the Amazon box that was full of worthless crap, but I believe I was scammed when it comes to the Unclaimed Mailed mystery box. It is pretty sketchy that of the 10 items included in the Unclaimed Mail mystery box, 3 packages had the same address in Illinois, 3 more packages were from a different address in Illinois (but the same address), and 2 packages had the same New York address on them, yet all 9 of these packages contained a single under cabinet light from the same manufacturer. Additionally, the carrier packaging differed between USPS and The UPS Store. Maybe I don't fully understand how unclaimed mail works, but to have 9 pieces of mail coming from 3 different cities and 2 different carriers, and all containing the exact same item doesn't sound anything near random as GRP advertises the individual packages to be. read more

Ordered Amazon mystery boxes. Last 2 had Amazon seal clearly broken (not a small break - cut open end to end) with clear tape closing them. Contacted them to let them know they'd been opened and was told that Amazon tape breaks and they have to reseal...didn't buy that especially since I buy a lot of Amazon items and that seal has never been broken - it's strong tape and has to be sliced with an opener to get into it. I purchased 2 "mystery" boxes. They were listed as Father's Day boxes, unopened from Amazon. These are liquidation so they may contain anything at all. I would have been fine if they contained new unused items and had not been gone through before they sent them. They clearly opened them pulled out anything of value resealed them and sent them. The total value was about zero as it will cost me a trash sticker to put the trash out on the curb. Buyer beware. read more
