Purchased an item on the site but was not able to pick up the item during the time period that I was required due to a medical emergency. Repocast said they could re auction the item for a commission and fee which I was good with considering the situation. When the auction was complete I contacted them to ask the selling price and Repocast rep told me that I was being sent a check for $160. I received the check and it was for $115. I called them and I was informed that the previous amount was a mistake and that there was nothing they could do to correct their mistake by their employee. Don't get your plates here when you buy a vehicle...... its been well over a month.... I had to fight like I was pulling teeth for a week to get the temporary plate I ordered and paid for. Now that's expired and I'm driving on expired temporary plates with no sign of the real license plate I pre-paid for and ordered through this company over a month ago. No extensions, no new temporary plate, no nothing....... just out a couple hundred bucks and told its my problem to deal with the secretary of state to rectify the shady dealer who sold the van through the thier auction. In the mean time I am forced to break the law everyday due to incompetence Good luck getting what you paid for. It's on you to do thier job correctly. read more

Keep in mind that this is a business and they make money through product turnover and increased selling prices. As others have said, you must be careful when buying. I've had some items that were great; others that I threw in the garbage. Be aware that Repocast and the seller can and will make bids to raise the final selling price. It is however a good place to sell something when you don't want to hassle with buyers. But if a buyer refuses to pay for an item, Repocast will not pay you regardless what their sale terms claim. Duane is a great person, but the Sales Manager, Rob, is extremely rude and difficult to work with. Don't expect to get good customer service from him. Repocast should consider a better business model. What they should do is... 1) Remove all descriptions from every listing and simply allow the pictures to be its description. This would remove any liability for Repocast or the seller and place such on the buyer. 2) Charge a flat listing fee to the seller. $20 for small items and $50 for larger items. This would eliminate much of the trash that is sold so buyers can be more confident that what they're buying was at least worth an entry fee. It would also reduce man hours listing items that aren't worth even $10. 3) Add a Buy-It-Now and Best Offer to listings at the seller's discretion. The seller could choose to list with a Buy-It-Now price or specify a minimum Best Offer price. If not sold via these methods, it would be sold on the weekly auction as usual. This would generate daily sales and increase daily visits to the store and website. It would also reduce the labor required following the auction day as many items would be sold throughout the week. read more

Found this site from their sister site (SSL Corporation). SSL is their firearms auction site, and Repocast is their "everything else" auction. While I didn't win anything at SSL, I did pick up a few great deals at repocast. I drove out to pickup the items at the Byron Center location and was impressed with the friendliness and quick service I received. My experience with the items are very positive. Everything I won at auction (bulk lot of industrial lubricant), propane heater & kerosene heater, was exactly as described. And I honestly thought the heaters would need some attention, but both fired right up immediately. I would recommend this to anyone. Just don't bid on anything I'm bidding on :). read more

Be careful when you're buying from this company. If there is a problem with the item most of the time they will not give you your money back so make sure you inspect the item in person before buying. I've gotten stuck with 2 high dollar items now. One was for $650.00 and the other item was for $1500 read more

We recently sold a (damaged) vehicle through repocast. When we brought it there we told the staff we did not want any minimum bid. On the day of the auction I checked the website and our vehicle was over $1500 already. The day after the sale my husband called and asked what the next step was and they told us it didn't sell. When we told them what we saw, they went on to tell us there was a $3000 minimum bid on our listing. after explaining that we specifically said no minimum, they said they would relist it on the next auction. It wasnt listed for 4 weeks. My husband called again and they said they forgot. When it was finally listed we ended up getting less than $500. Never using repocast again. Very disorganized and unprofessional. read more

Don't use repocast it's a scam. They let you bid on lots or item the same week then on the day of the auction they and other lots to your invoice. when I tried ton tell them I didn't bid on the items they called me a liar. read more
