So I arrived at 1p.m. and it was packed. Now for me that's good as it means that the food must be good. The menu is kind of confusing but I was able to figure it out. Had a quick lunch date here. We walked in and the staff was very helpful. We were handed menus and told that they'd love to help us decide if we had trouble since it was our first time. I ordered the Havana salad with salmon and seasonal tomato and basil soup. My husband ordered the salmon burger with sweet potato fries/chips. Everything was delicious and fresh. I could tell quality ingredients were used. This place is expensive but typically truly fresh, organic, quality food is! Definitely would come back here. read more

Finally made time to drop in for a quick snack/late lunch after picking my daughter up from school. Overall the place is really cute. I love that there is a small interactive area for kids. My daughter had the grilled cheese. It came with a side of fruit and broccoli. I wish I would have realized as I would of held the broccoli so it didnt go to waste. Grilled cheese was good and price was reasonable for all that it included. As for my order... I chose to have a tuna salad wrap. I found the pricing structure to be on the high side. I had a wheat wrap with grown simple greens and then chose tuna as my protein for an additional 6 bucks. Wrap + veggies are a standard 11 even if you dont want the veggies. The wrap does come with your choice of soup but I did not want soup. I asked if I could substitute for a small salad and I was told no. I was pretty hungry and didnt want to make an issue but Im hoping my feedback will be taken into consideration. Let us switch up the side!! The pancakes were pretty good, and the syrup was real and delicious, but I paired it with a smoothie and my bill was a whopping $22, which is pretty outrageous for a quick breakfast. And the smoothie was probably the worst I've ever had. Smoothies are supposed to be cold and thick and creamy, right? This was fruit blended with water. Healthy options without the stereotype. I had the Mediterranean with portobello mushrooms on a baguette. The portions are HUGE. One of these could easily feed two people. Plus it comes with a soup. I had the split pea with bacon and it was great - very bacony. Their juices are fresh, the service is excellent. Loved seeing Ray and his family working the place on a Saturday. This place is extremely over rated. The panko crusted chicken fingers that I got for my 3yr old son were completely under cooked. The Havana chicken sandwich that I got was ok at best. When my $29 bill came which included a tiny tiny chicken tortilla soup, I was stuck in awe. Tried it once. Never going back. It's so hard to eat organic food unless you cook it yourself. It's nice to take a break and get quality food that I didn't have to slave in the kitchen for. The Havana wrap, grilled cheese sandwich, Love greens and Berry juice were all very good. The place is pretty and clean. It is pricier than other fast food places that serve cheaper, edible toxic food but health is wealth. I love having the option of getting a quick bite to eat without having to compromise my health or taste buds. Organic food is far from "bla bla bla yada yada". For all the hype and the prices I really thought that it was going to be something special...$38 for two wraps and two bowls of soup....eh. The roast turkey was kind of slimy. Wife got a mushroom wrap because they didn't have the brisket she wanted. I could see if it was close to closing or even right after they opened but to be out of one of your 5 proteins in the middle of lunch? Came here on Wednesday with my Mom for the first time to grab smoothies. The smoothies were quite good- all fruit and coconut water. However they were very over priced. $10 per smoothie, and the smoothies were small. Additionally there was a wait to receive the smoothies, the venue was hot, and the floors were not clean at all. The floor under the table where we sat had a lot of food debris including cut up chicken. The staff seemed pleasant and tried to be helpful. One male staff member in particular was a little too "nice" and asked me how long I had been married for without me volunteering that information (I was alone with my mom). I think that given the high prices and upscale area the restaurant should do a better job in keeping the dining area clean and at maintaining a comfortable air temperature. Food was good /ok and fresh. I ordered using the drive-through and our food was ready about 5-10 minutes after ordering (friendly staff brought to our car). The smoothies were delicious. However, the actual food was just "fine". I typically stick with vegetarian options and I didn't see anything foodwise that caught my attention. They let you make your own salads and sandwiches but this also seemed kind of "blah" to me. If I wanted to make my own salad I would have stayed home. I wish Grown had more menu ready options to suggest as I don't like to have to design my own food. That could just be me though as maybe some love the style. I would probably give the food here five stars, but not the restaurant overall because the prices are super high for the fast-food category. The portobello wrap I got was $16 for just the wrap, nothing on the side. Some wraps are $18. That's just too much and targets the wealthy only. Also while it was opening day they were out of falafel. I also wish they had another vegetarian protein like tempeh available. That said the wrap was pretty tasty (if you can afford it). I drive by it almost every day and finally got around to trying it. Maybe it's just me but I found the menu very confusing. I was in the drive thru and didn't want to hold up the line so I picked what looked like a sandwich and ordered that, although the menu didn't really make it clear what exactly I was going to receive or how much it was going to cost. I ended up getting a chicken salad sandwich and a side of potatoes. As for the food, I usually love chicken salad but this particular chicken salad had more onions than chicken. It should have been called onion salad. Unfortunately, it had so many onions that it was mostly inedible. The potatoes were decent though so they ended up being my lunch. Based on the menu, it wasn't even clear how much everything was going to cost. It ended up being a bit overpriced for what amounted to a sandwich (which was inedible because of the amount of onions in the chicken salad) and seasoned potatoes, in my opinion. I may go back and try something else one of these days. My suggestion to the business, rewrite your menu so it's not as confusing. Also take it easy on the onions when making the chicken salad. It should have more chicken than onions, not the other way around. read more
