Then I was referred to him by Axis Pain Center, so I knew he was the right therapist for me. I go to the Warner Robins location off of Osigian Blvd. because it's about 7 minutes from my house. Appointments are easy to schedule, and his hours are flexible. The office is small but always clean and inviting. The staff is friendly, helpful, and they know you on a first name basis. I've only been in therapy for about 2 months going 3x per week, but Jason has been incredible at treating my trigger points and improving flexibility and range of motion. Once my muscles eventually begin to loosen up more I'm confident my nerves will no longer be pinched, or at least I'll be better able to manage this chronic pain that's been interfering with my daily life for the past 2 1/2 years. He also helps with realignment issues and posture problems. I'm a full-time potter, and this type of daily work is literally back breaking. He's been completely professional, and I've experienced more pain relief in 2 months at his practice than I ever did during the year long disaster of Physical Therapy I experienced. I am posting on behalf of someone who is afraid of retaliation from the office. I came in with a recommendation from a GI to get an ultrasound after I got a colonoscopy. When I went in to tell him this, he dismissed my concerns, saying that "this is just a woman's problem" which, by the way, I remind you that this was a gynecologist. When I asked for an ultrasound, he claimed that since he didn't see any reason to do it and so he wouldn't bill my insurance. This is despite the fact that I came in on a recommendation from another doctor. I insisted it be done, even without my insurance paying for it, because I have been having so much pain. After doing it, he DID actually find that there was an issue, and had no clue what to do. So not only is this doctor a jerk, he is also incompetent. He literally said "I don't know who I could recommend you to for this. I could recommend you to a gynecologist but that's me." So basically, he doesn't know how to do his job. Afterwards, I asked, so then can you bill my insurance now because clearly there was a reason to do it and there's something wrong with my body. He told me "No, I already sent the bill, I will not bill your insurance." Despite being wrong, he still wasn't willing to account for his mistakes and demanded I pay him out of pocket. So now I'm paying for this incompetent doctor out of pocket when really I shouldn't be. By the way, when I called initially, I asked to see a female gynecologist. The office couldn't even do that for me (do they even have a female gynecologist? and if they don't why didn't they tell me?), and now I'm frustrated that I saw Dr.Barnes who DISMISSED my concerns, was completely INCOMPETENT, and is OVERCHARGING me because he was too lazy to bill my insurance. I am harassed with calls & paperwork. I was sued by the chiropractor service which I did not contest. I have attempted to speak to Dr. Fink directly but the office manager refuses to allow me to speak to him. I am constantly sent court documents & threats are made to me from the office manager which include theft of services, told me I would be charged with felony acts. I have committed no crimes & I am a law abiding citizen. How can a person pay when the office manager refuses to accept payments?? I should also mention this was the second time I was treated for chiropractic services. The first time a settlement offer was accepted but Alicia wasn't working there at the time. The first time I received services there it was pleasant personal, the treatment helped a lot, Dr. Fink allowed the settlement offer. The second time the insurance refused to pay what was called an inflated excessive rate by charging $261 per visit & $120 to write a final report leaving the bill to be almost $3000. I don't think Dr. Fink is a bad person. He is actually a decent guy. I have really tried to resolve this matter. I hope everyone else has had a pleasant experience. After an urgent referral was made when we saw he had a severely reduced EF, we were able to see Dr. Daniel the next day (other cardiologist we wanted was on vacation). We waited probably 2 hours but we expected it as a new patient being worked in with one day notice. The nurse did not listen to anything I was trying to tell her. She kept her back to me. She took his vitals and "filled in the boxes" (as I call it) on his chart. Dr. Daniel was in the office a total of mayne five minutes to tell us treatment options included a life vest and pacemaker/defibrillator, and referral to Emory for a heart transplant. This was our first visit, our first time meeting him, and we had less than 24 hours processing the previous day's news. There was zero sympathy. He did no physical exam. He leaned against the cabinet as though this was daily news for a 30 year old. He saw what the chart and what the ECHO report stated but he did not "see" the patient. My husband has been a firefighter for 12 years and is very active and had been healthy all his life previously. Dr. Daniel offered no medications. He didnt do a heart catheterization to start ruling out why this happened. We felt like we were being pawned off like he didn't want to deal with it when he said go to Emory. We got a second opinion a week later. 7 months later with medications, close monitoring, blood tests, and PCP management, his EF is almost back to normal. No transplant needed. No life vest. No pacemaker. No unnecessary invasive procedures. Dr. Daniel...you should see my husband now.
