I recently moved to the area and was amazed to discover that my new local library just happens to be the best library I've ever been to. The selection of books is excellent and the children's section is wonderful. But they go above and beyond in so many areas; They have a great selection of the normal fare movies, audio books, and magazines. But you can also play and check out board games, graphic novels, telescopes, and fishing rods. They have a teen area. Study areas. A bookstore, where you can find great prices. And they have a cafe. Visit and support this gem of a library!

They have a good selection of movies and audio books which I enjoy. I also like the free community events like the recent Mother's Day craft and the Lunch and Learn talks. They have teen movie nights and art club and plant exchanges for adults that we have attended. I do wish they had a bigger selection of new releases and audiobooks though. They host tons of events, and when I'm less busy in summer, I enjoy attending the adult craft events. Last summer I even went to the children's exotic animal exhibit because I'm a kid at heart who loves animals. Staff are very kind. And I use my library card most for the Libby app and hoopla app to rent books and audiobooks electronically. There is always something going on and a great selection of books. Take your kids! No one can enjoy themselves with the Karen working, and it honestly ruins the entire experience of a library. Secondly, no where in the policy or guidelines does it state that people can't sit at the back of the library, but yet today while I was sitting there, a police officer pulled up and told me that a librarian had called the police and said I needed to move. A very Karen-like move for a certain librarian to pull off. I had to grab my things and move to the front of the library, just because a librarian woke up this morning and decided she wants to be a Karen today.

This one is truly amazing. It is very well planned. It is inviting. You can check out an I-pad for free. Large & small meeting rooms, nice study tables. The wifi can get slow at times. There are separate themed sections, teens, kids, business, etc. The restaurant is a little pricier than I would like to see, especially since the location of the library is not in a walkable area. That is the only super BAD thing about this library is that it is FAR out from everything. There is only 1 bus that goes to it and I am a public transit nerd. The food at the cafe is really good, but expensive for a student on a budget, and there aren't any affordable places in walking distance. One plus, is that the food is a lot healthier than what I usually eat. The servers were cute and friendly. The shelving staff aren't super friendly. There was a water bottle on top of the I-pad kiosk for over an hour. I tried to flag down the guy shelving audio books, but he totally ignored me. I dunno maybe he was just a guy doing court ordered community service or something or in a bad mood. But I love this place anyway! One thing that I love, is that you can print using their printers via smartphone, your own pc or tablet with their mobile printing feature. I could live here all the time. It's awesome sauce.

The cafe space is no longer in use by the coffee cafe but this library still has a lot going for it. There are multiple meeting/ community rooms and reading lounges. The children's library is huge and every librarian that I spoke with was so helpful and nice. Desks, tables and armchairs are all over the place. It's wonderful here.
