I recently moved to the area and was amazed to discover that my new local library just happens to be the best library I've ever been to. The selection of books is excellent and the children's section is wonderful. But they go above and beyond in so many areas; They have a great selection of the normal fare movies, audio books, and magazines. But you can also play and check out board games, graphic novels, telescopes, and fishing rods. They have a teen area. Study areas. A bookstore, where you can find great prices. And they have a cafe. Visit and support this gem of a library!

This is a great spot for study or internet but it was too quiet to try and pull off a Zoom bridge if you need to talk. Sure, a few shouting kids and the librarians tend to talk loud but I think the patrons are expected to be silent. Stacks and stacks of books, magazines, reference, tables for spreading out, comfy chairs for sitting and a "Library of Things" that you can borrow as well. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful in getting us set up, and we left with a stack of books and a fun STEAM backpack. They have a lot of these backpacks to choose from to keep kids busy and entertained. It is a great environment for studying or just relaxing with a book or magazine.

The one door has a large clear panel and is secured with a magnet. Inside, quite full with books. A mix of hardcovers and softcovers with some thrillers, fiction and self-help, non-fiction and a cookbook. Nothing that caught my eye and because I was walking, I didn't add anything today. I was visiting town and looking for something to do when I noticed that the library advertised a…read moreholiday music hour on their website. I took my 90-year-old father to check it out. While the event was okay, it wasn't anything extraordinary. However, the library itself was wonderful and seemed like a great resource for the community. The children's area was super cute, and there were plenty of chairs and desks for those who want to work. The bathrooms were clean, and parking was a breeze. A volunteer at the front greeted everyone who walked in. Bonus the free cookies they offered as you left the building.
