My only problem is that when I first rented my box, I wasn't only receiving my mail, I was also receiving lots of mail from the former renter. I let the person at the counter know and they said they would take care of it. So now we fast-forward to 2023 and I was still receiving the former renter's mail regularly. So this time I spoke with a supervisor and they put a post-it in front of my mailbox inside where they sort the mail. Fast-forward to July 2025. I am now occasionally receiving the former renters mail. Oh Well. 5 stars for front counter customer service.

In top of that I receive messages at 8:30 am through informed delivery that they tried to deliver my package at 8am and it was undeliverable?! If it doesn't fit in my mailbox they don't come to the door or anything at all. I get so tired of having to go pick up items. Very upset and awful people working in there that don't give 2 craps whether their drivers do there jobs or not! Gravette Arkansas is located in Benton County, in the very corner of the NWA just 23 miles away…read morefrom the state line. Just a few years ago it seemed as if they just had a couple of diners and a mexican restaurant. Now you have several fast food chains. A couple of gas stations. Three banks, and houses going up everywhere. The town is pretty quiet and on the weekends after dark It has no nightlife at all. For the most part the locals are kind of friendly. One road going through Gravette has constant traffic of mostly big rigs and people traveling to and from Oklahoma. The mayor is a pretty nice guy and hangs out at a local coffee shop down the block from Main Street, called Grumpy's. There is an elementary, junior high, and high school here that is seriously protected by a very dedicated police department. So if you are ever coming through and looking for something to do, they have a few things like the community pool. A farmer's market every Saturday at 8am at the old Town Park. A park with a large playground , picnic and barbecue grills. Tennis and basketball courts. And lots of games and classes available at Henzie's art studio on main street.

If you have even the slightest appreciation for Civil War history, Pea Ridge National Military Park…read moreis an absolute must-visit. This battlefield marks the site of the March 7-8, 1862 clash that ultimately secured Missouri for the Union--one of the most pivotal and underrated battles west of the Mississippi. Walking these grounds, it's hard not to feel the weight of what happened here--over 23,000 soldiers fought across these rolling Ozark hills, woods, and fields. What makes this park stand out is how incredibly well-preserved it is. You're not just looking at history--you're standing in it. The 7-mile driving tour is perfectly laid out with multiple stops, including the reconstructed Elkhorn Tavern (the heart of the battle), and scenic overlooks that give you a true sense of troop movements and terrain. The visitor center is worth your time too--don't skip the short film unless you already have Civil War troop movements memorized like a general. It gives great context before you explore. Bonus points: * Peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere (feels almost sacred) * Beautiful hiking trails through historic ground * You can literally walk portions of the Trail of Tears here--history layered on history Whether you're a hardcore history buff or just someone who enjoys a meaningful outdoor experience, this place delivers. It's quiet, powerful, and honestly... one of those spots that sticks with you long after you leave.

Hard to miss this beautiful building near downtown Bentonville with a historical marker out front…read more The marker reads, "Built in 1890 by Captain NH Henry. Captain Henry served in the Civil War as a member of General Stonewall Jackson's artillery. After the war Henry moved to Bentonville where he helped build Bentonville's first steam railway and served as a Treasurer for Benton County. The Henry House is built in the Italianate style and the main façade has been unaltered since construction. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988." It is a two-story brick structure with Italianate architectural details like trusses in the front-facing gable, a scrollwork balustrade on the main porch, and scrolled brackets on the hood over a side entrance. This 1890 construction is a good example of the late Italianate style brick homes that were constructed in Bentonville in large quantities between 1870 and 1895. I was able to find the Henry House on an apartment/short-term rental site. [Review 19801 overall - 277 in Arkansas - 774 of 2023.]
