The treatment plan that was agreed upon with the orthodontist can now not be completed as planned due to this error.

He provides very good quality dentistry for all ages. But, the best thing I have noticed about him is his "bedside manner" with children. I have never seen anyone, a priest, teacher, therapist or parent who is better with kids. He puts kids at ease, & makes their experience as positive as possible. Also, as a patient, I can honestly say that he is one of the best dentists to ever give me an injection, (to numb teeth before a procedure). Some dentists are brutal, & the injection is so painful, you might choose to have work done without being numb. That is not the case with Dr. Mead. I highly recommend him as a family dentist!!!!!

Things were alright up until after I had my wisdom teeth removed and my brother's wisdom teeth extraction by him. Then crap hit the fan. First off, this guy does not pour one penny back into his office. It's so sterile and unfriendly looking in there. Not to mention there is a grumpy lady who works at the front desk (no clue if she's still there). Older and kind of chunky. I mean this office is dumpy and in need of repair and decorating badly. Next there was a horrible female dental hygenist there--what a meanie! She acted like I shouldn't be in pain if she was taking the pick and digging centimeters under my gums! She had dark hair and tan skin. Next--I was not impressed by the fact that during my wisdom teeth extraction, I could feel them pulling my teeth and when they did stitches. They told me to suck it up and deal with it: "we already have given you more than enough pain medicine". And during a check up afterwards, I had my mouth yanked open by this so called "doctor". He always spent a long time checking my mouth out like he was looking for anything to get him more money when I had my checkups! PLUS that genius never gave me a syringe to clean my sockets so I damn near got an infection. And to top it all off he's probably having an affair with one of the hygenists. They were oh so friendly and chatty with each other, constantly flirting when they were "working" together. Plus he complained to my father about how long it took him to do my brother's wisdom teeth extraction surgery. "Oh it was so much work, it took longer than expected!" BUT he did/does have two great hygenists there: Mike and Joanne. Joanne is the sweetest lady ever and Mike was super friendly. If I was you, I'd switch if you go here. Thinking about it? They pushed…read morean early morning appointment that the scheduling put in despite my concern I could get there (I work three jobs, it's tricky). I ran a few minutes late and called ahead. The entire mood of the office was so tense it was unreal. The poor staff! I almost left right then. The dentist came in, he was furious and oddly aggressive. He was very loud about embarrassing dental issues that I had, and at the end of his long speech about basically what a pain I was and how self-inflicted my issues were (poverty? motherhood? illness?), he told me "Hey if you you can always find another dentist!" I was shocked at this, because it was so out of the blue, and I had only just started consulting and was looking for a short term fix and long term plan, now that I could start paying for this care. First visit, I thought that perhaps he was a little gruff, but maybe pretty qualified. I struggled to get the next appointments. When I finally got this one, and he said that, I told him I liked his people and I was surprised at his saying that. He pretty much stormed out. What? It was so horrible I paid my bill and went to my car and cried. I never cry about anything, but it was just that awful. I literally felt unsafe with this guy. I went to another dentist who took me immediately; as in THAT DAY. This dentist had a lot of B&R's former employees on staff. They bent over backwards to let me know I wasn't alone in my experience, and they set me up with a wonderful care plan. They fixed my immediate issue and we worked out an equitable treatment plan in a full meeting with the office person who was beyond kind. Totally opposite my Boss & Rorvik experience. Weeks later I got basically an eff off letter from B&R essentially firing me as a patient... although I'd already done that for them and I'd never had any further contact since that day. I don't know what is wrong with that office, and at this point, I don't really care. It prompted me to find someone better who makes me feel welcomed and more confident about my care. But the instability of the big guy alone in this place is a big no for me. The clear stress of his staff is a big no for me. I hope your experience is better. Nobody should feel like that leaving any kind of health care facility, even if it is just a dentist.
