I cannot even add a star in this business, absolutely ridiculous that they use their parking for towing purposes!!!! Store is closed. No wonder this place has soo many bad reviews. Outstanding service: Mary and Jane warmly welcomed three of us into the store very close to closing time. We were on the hunt for some beautiful staples to add to our closets and hadn't found what we were looking for at three other boutiques. We were so happy to find super stylish pants, a perfect blazer, a sweatsuit with yummy soft fabric and jackets we really liked. Great selection: Once we selected a few things to try on, Mary was incredibly helpful, kind and fun, efficiently providing needed sizes and additional options. Grove Hill is in a great location and has a lovely space full of fun possibilities. Good Value: Half of what we ended up purchasing was from the sale rack which offers half off the original price. That is always appreciated! I will return to Grove Hill whenever I am in San Antonio again and am thrilled with my purchases! read more

Very unpleasant experience with staff. Would not recommend at all. The clothes are decent but the people are rude and service horrible.

If I could rate this store with a negative number LOWER than 0 I would. For a retail store "boutique" thd employee customer service was ATROCIOUS. The blond older lady with the short hair in particular was the worst. Heres why: 1. When I asked a question about the sale, after answering, she didnt think I saw her snarky eye roll and hand gesture which was just RUDE. 2. I guess my Michael Kors purse wasn't as good enough as the tall blonde with the Louis Vuitton who recieved a fitting room as soon as a garment hung from her long, manicured nails. 3. When I was checking out (which I shouldnt have even bothered to do because they didnt deserve my money) she TOSSED the credit card across ths counter to me and refused to make eye contact. 4. Im not even to the good part yet, after i had PAID, she left the bag behind the counter to go have a chat with another employee so I had to go behind the counter to get my own purchases. DO NOT RECCOMMENT STORE UNLESS YOU MAKE MORE THAN SIX FIGURES A YEAR OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT BE TREATED WITH ANY RESPECT. read more

I'm a young woman who is new to San Antonio. I had a great first experience here and left with a great pair of designer jeans from Los Angeles that I would never find any place else. They were nice to me, despite my Boston accent and lack of San Antonio style. The jeans were great and they even recommended an excellent local tailor shop that I could tell was hush hush the best in the area. It's hard moving to a new city alone and I felt good about doing business here. Will be back for more jeans soon and pants again. read more

Wasn't feeing well from a night out with the girls, so my friend and I decided to have a manicure and pedicure the next morning at the nail salon next door to Grove Hill. After our salon service, we stopped in for the Memorial sale they were having. I was dressed down way more than usual because I wasn't feeling well (girls just wanna have fun) and knew I would need to wear something appropriate for a pedicure. I was wearing Nike shorts, a t-shirt from my daughter's school, and flip flops. Backstory over -- the customer service was awful! A brunette woman greeted us and was pleasant, but an older blonde woman handled my transaction and was a snobby shrew. I managed to be both appalled and entertained with her attitude toward me. I spent around $94.00 for two shirts on sale. If she owns this place, I won't be going back, and if she works there, I sincerely hope the management reads this review because I actually like the clothes at this store. There was someone else already in the system with my same name, and when I offered to give my information, she wasn't interested. She even tossed my credit card on the counter! Ha!! Can you imagine?! When the clerk with the bad attitude checked my friend out (she was in the system) and found out she lived on King William St in King William, her attitude immediately shifted. Tsk, tsk. read more

A great mix of clothes that aren't on the racks of all the other stores. Sales here can be tremendous- up to 75% off. Clothes are definitely on the more expensive side (some very nice day dresses are around the $150 point), but there are some beautiful selections. Sales people are helpful without being too pushy. If you need jeans, come here- tell them your size and fit preferences and they will rifle through the styles to find you a perfect pair. read more

I was treated very poorly customer service wise by the older lady who works there when returning an item and when I expressed my discontent the owner didn't want to hear it for the most part. At the end the owner said she was sorry I felt that way but it was obvious during the entire conversation she was on the defensive from the beginning. read more

The owner of this establishment is rudest woman I have EVER met!!! At first I thought it was in my head. I went in and was wondering why she didn't offer to help me, get a dressing room for me (WHEN I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THERE! by myself, no kids!) Then people started coming in and she offered them wine or water and was grabbing things left and right and checking up on them in the dressing room...At first I thought it was because she didn't think I had any money to spend or maybe because I was Hispanic. So I blew her off and ended up buying a $200 dress. Today I went in and she treated me the exact same from the moment I walked in! She took a top away from me and said I could not try it on because she didn't think it was for me. WTF! I was so insulted that I had to put a $200 dress back I was intending on purchasing because I didn't want to give her my business. The saleslady who heard everything asked me how everything worked out and I flat out said "well, I loved these dresses and I want to purchase them but I don't know if I want to give you guys my business after what the owner just did." The saleslady asked me to sleep on it and said she completely understands. She apologized for her behavior but said the owner has always been like that (rude and insulting). So while she took my name and number so I could think about it, the owner walks out again and sees her and says "I actually have someone that wants that dress!" So I said, "Do you not want to sell me this dress either?" And as she walked away I shouted "Is this because I am young or Hispanic?" I was in complete shock and mortified! It still is beyond me whether this place does not like Mexicans or middle class citizens but I do not want to support ANY locally owned business that discriminate against either!!! read more
