We got…read morea few different quotes for the work, including from Mike who came out to look at the space on a Saturday afternoon. Mike's wasn't the lowest bid, but it was the only one without contingencies, and the only one which stated up front that his crew would remove the old tile floor, repair any underlying issues with the subfloor, and level it before installing the new luxury vinyl planks. Plus we felt comfortable after meeting him about the plan and the quality of the materials/work. It took about two weeks after signing up to get the planks ordered/delivered, and then set a time to do the installation. A two-man crew showed up around 8:30 a.m., gave me some updates along the way to show what was happening (and ask some important questions I hadn't considered, like which way the new planks should run), and they finished installing the flooring and the quarterround by about 11:30 a.m. Everything looks great, and we are very happy.

It took under three hours and they arrived even a little early. Parked on the street with a truck and didn't block any neighbors' driveways which was nice. They even cleaned out our screened in porch which looks ten times better. We have a two story house and they did a phenomenal job. Nice company, great service; highly recommend!

Our house, windows, driveway and rear patio were long overdue for pressure washing cleaning. While…read morewe could have rented a pressure washer, we opted to have the Pressure Washing professionally done. We contacted 3 companies on a Saturday and only Ohana Pressure Washing returned our call that day (within 30 minutes). Ohana was the highest rated of all the 3 companies, and we can easily see why! Ohana Pressure Washing is Family Owned and Operated. We were promptly contacted by Stuart (who was very friendly and helpful in assessing our Pressure Washing Needs). We needed a lot of work done! Through phone/texts he answered all our questions and worked with us to provide an honest estimate. We later confirmed the services that Saturday Evening and Stuart set us up for a Tuesday appointment. Stuart gave us a 9-9:30am window for Tuesday. Stuart and another Ohana Employee arrived within that time. We he had the following services completed: House softwash Low pressure direct application of cleaning solution to gently remove insect debris and organic stains from exterior of home, ( Gutter exteriors, soffits, eves, and siding). - Ohana was very thorough in getting to hard to reach areas and the attention to detail of cleaning was impressive! Driveway, walkway Surface clean concrter driveway and walkway to remove organic stains. - Ohana included the street curb to both property lines. Window cleaning Mop & squeegee exterior windows. Hand wash window screens. - They took apart all of the screens of the house and ensured they were cleaned and glass windows squeegeed! All the work was completed by 12:00pm! If we were to have rented a pressure washer, it probably would have taken us at least a couple of days! They did an excellent, thorough job. They even cleaned areas that could be missed by other companies. Stuart did a walkthrough of the services performed and explained "Ohana" means family. He said we are part of his family now. I truly believe that...just from how much pride they took in the job completed! If you are in need of pressure washing services big or small, definitely recommend Ohana Pressure Washing! The process of drying our home was acceptable. Dustin was courteous and informative…read more The restoration process was, however, an absolute nightmare. Once work got started we had cameras set up in our house so we would check up on them from our hotel room. The crew was very messy. They didn't cover any of our belongings while they hung drywall. They left trash everywhere in our house (food wrappers, soda cans). They goofed off, watched videos on their phones and did very shoddy work. I'd say at least a third of their work had to be redone. This was all because of what would be a constant problem: no supervisor on site. EVER. The contractor in charge of our job was never to be seen. He would occasionally stop by first thing in the morning to drop off supplies, but was never around more than 10 minutes. I was in regular contact with him trying to understand why things were taking so long and why they were being done so poorly, but I had to also figure out that he was a "fast talker". He would constantly make deadlines and miss them. Promise things would be fixed, but they wouldn't get fixed or it wouldn't be done correctly and needed to be fixed a second time. This became the common routine since he never inspected any of the work done. He also wouldn't provide his workers with proper materials and they were always back and forth to Home Depot or Lowe's. I can understand running into an issue and needing extra supplies, but this was every day. One day I happened to be home while they were working and they wanted to stop work because they had been given the wrong toe kicks to match our cabinets so I went to Home Depot myself and bought them so they could carry on with other work. It was ridiculous. This also meant that I became the defacto crew leader at times. I had to follow everything they did and make notes of what wasn't done correctly or done at all and report back to the company like I worked for them. Our bathroom needed a new vanity and I had to measure the space for a new one because he couldn't be bothered to. Surprise surprise, my measurement was incorrect because I'm not a contractor (didn't account for outward swinging doors) but he bought a vanity based on my incorrect measurements anyway. Two more days lost This went on and on for months. Meanwhile, my wife and newborn son have been stuck on the second floor because the first floor is a jobsite run by a company with no sense of urgency, but very excited to get paid. I made the mistake of giving them payment up front for the first half of work and I think that had a lot to do with them dragging their heels because once they heard I had a second check from my insurance company they would not stop asking about it. It made me wonder if they were having cash flow problems because they seemed desperate for the money. In case anyone reading this doesn't know already, you DO NOT have to pay up front for ANY WORK. Payments are made when work is done like any other business. But the owners and supervisors at Anderson insist they are entitled to that money immediately. It took a conference call with my insurance adjuster and them to lay things out plainly. They had dragged their heels long enough and it was time to finish the job or not get paid. They magically completed everything in a week.
