One of the staff came to me and told me what was done and a couple of things that needed to be done. I authorized him to complete the work and then the staff member snatched the paper out of my hand. I thought that was really rude but well my car was being repaired and I said nothing, When the car was ready I was notified and I drove away to discover my engine light is now on. I drove back told the service people and in a short time once again was informed that the car was ready and of the TECNICIANS forgot to connect a cable. The Service Manager and a guy from the Service Group said the car was ready and that "THEY WERE SORRY." I am upset but I get my car back and I don't say anything. By the time I get home guess what the engine light is on again. That night I lay in bed fuming about what I endured at Ed HiCKS NiSSAN. I truly enjoy my car, I am 78 and having to endure this irresponsibility. Next morning I drive back to EdHicks Nissan and I am prepared to lay down the law and I ask for the Service Manager and this woman introduces herself to me, and this is not the woman yesterday who said she was the manager. Once again I have my script to lay down the law but this person is completely personable, professional, and shows an interest as to why I am there. She has completely defused my being upset and listens. I told her in a calm manner my experience from yesterday, the rudeness, the "I am sorry" which really didn't come across that they were sorry at all. She said to me that she was going to talk to Service people and to the rude guy. They took my car, once again to repair something that was not a problem until I went to Ed Hicks Nissan. The Service Manager returns the cable was weak and was going bad and I replied that it was working perfectly fine until I brought there. She did not say anything and I drove my car home. No engine light and the air conditioning works. My experience with this Dealership is the absolute worst I have ever been treated. I have to tell you my previous vehicle at another dealership in another state their Nissan dealership work and how they treated their customers was stellar. That is why I was so shocked at this experience. In the middle of this nonsense I truly considered Toyota. I am a person who has loyalty to the people I do business with. This has shaken my loyalty to this dealership. My previous vehicle was a Nissan Frontier truck. I loved that truck except when it needed gasoline. I loved it, it was my forever vehicle. One day I was in an accident and the person behind me and his car plowed into me at my truck door the air bags deployed and I walked away from that accident. That Nissan truck protected me from injury. I wanted that truck repaired but sadly the vehicle was Totaled. What did I do. I bought another Nissan vehicle expecting the same excellent care. The second Nissan manager was the type of Nissan personnel I am use to, very good and cares about the Nissan Brand and represents the Nissan Brand.

We were greeted by a young woman named Jackie, who was very professional and knew the car and all its functions. We never felt any pressure. Even when she brought in the manager. They both we very informative and accepting of our position. We did not plan to buy that day, just stopped in to look at a pathfinder. We wanted a 25 (less expensive) so they said they'd find one. A couple of days later they called to say they'd located one and would let us know when it arrived. Two days later they called to say they were not able to get it after all, however, they offered us the same deal on a 26. No tricks, no BS, just a straight & honest deal. Even the F&I experience easy. They brought us the first paper work with some warranties we did not want. We told them that and the removed them with no pressure and the deal was done. Easy-peasy! Then Jackie walked us through all the cars special features (which were many) and off we drove. It almost seemed to good to be true. We could not have been more pleased and we love our new Pathfinder!

Here is my experience with In And Out Auto. First off their towing service is good I would…read morerecommend the J Hook Towing. My truck was/is having some electrical issues which caused it to stop working while driving down SPID, I had it towed to In and Out to have this issue diagnosed and repaired. The mechanic found some wires that had been chewed on by a mouse/rat which they did provide pictures of so I am thinking so far so good, also there was a blown fuse. I was told the fuse was replaced and the damaged wires have been replaced as well and the truck starts but there are still some codes showing up on the scanner. The code was for a bad cam shaft sensor. Sensor was replaced no labor charges for that so I am still thinking so far so good. I pay my bill- which was $473.55 and go pick up my truck. I opened the hood to check out the "New wiring" the new wires were simply spliced and electrical taped back together- that was a 2 hour labor charge. After picking it up I take it to an Autozone and have them hook a scanner up to the vehicle to check the codes, exact same code comes up- Bad Cam Shaft Sensor. So my truck was at this shop for a total of five days, I spent nearly $500 for some electrical tape and the exact same engine codes that were showing up the first day I dropped it off. Their communication to and towards me as a customer was lacking at best, I would call a few times a day to check the status and I would be lucky to get ahold of anyone.

The two headlights screws we're still incorrect and I had to go buy two more to fix that myself there was a hose that was routed incorrectly and not secured so I fixed that myself also, 5 push pin type plastic connectors to secure hoses and lines we're not secured and the coolant was a quart and a half low, on a positive note they did add the two missing screws to secure the radiator and fix the coolant leak and I gained a new boxend ratchet wrench for my toolbox. Extremely disappointed as everybody there was very friendly and nice but just could not seem to get it together to do a quality job.
