Though it was happening the night I learned of it. So very glad I did. The leader/teacher Jean Erlbaum gently led us through the 8-week class (on Tuesday nights) and the additional "retreat" on one Sunday, to instruct us on various skills we might use for our practice. Always professional, but also always kind and accepting, Jean was a wonderful teacher and so much so, my husband called to ask when she might offer the class next time.

Paul is a wealth of knowledge and I am being genuine when I say that every class I go to teaches me something new about my body/form and I've been practicing yoga since 2008. It's truly a gem. Paul and also Suzie offer high quality classes and deep knowledge of the practice. (I don't know the other teachers well) They both have years of experience and can differentiate for any body and make everyone feel welcome and included. Although I've just been exploring for a short time now, this is my take: Warm, empowering, and deeply penetrating approach to meditation, and its affect on society, one's individual life, and the arts. Free (!?!) meditation instruction is available, both beginning and ongoing, if requested. I attended an open house, which seems to be a monthly thing. I meet with a meditation instructor that I clicked with, about once a month, to talk about my practice experience. Their web site shows the diversity and accessibility of their program offerings. I tried exploring at home gentle yoga videos but was fearful of pushing myself past my limitations which could result in an ER visit. I did my yoga session at Spirit Space Yoga as I felt I would have trouble relaxing in my own home. Hannah had all the supplies ready for me and the room was clean, quiet, and zen. I immediately felt at home at Spirit Space Yoga and was very comfortable opening up to Hannah. Hannah is wonderful and has a calm, nurturing, knowledgeable presence. She calmly and patiently listened to my limitations, goals, hopes, dreams, and fears. She led me through a wonderful private session that made me feel alive and hopeful again. Hannah was able to design a session that worked on my goals of strength, flexibility, and relaxation in a full body workout without over-exerting my arm where I have a PICC line placed. I felt respected and safe throughout my whole session.
