Not realizing how knotted up my body was when I came in, Renata was able to massage me, relax me, then educate me regarding my body & the stress I was carrying. I came in for a relaxing massage, but instead I got a massage & very helpful information regarding my body!!!! Talk about a bonanza!!! Additionally, Renata further aided in my relaxation process by providing the level of modesty (regarding my body) that made me comfortable. Not many times does a therapist that takes the time to inquire about your comfort level; whether your 1st or 100th time, this can be an issue. My hot stone massage wasn't long enough, as I didn't want her to stop. From the top to the bottom, there wasn't area that was untouched by her. She made sure all my muscles received a fair amount of stimulation and "unkinking"; as I was truly full of knots. I found the pricing to be fair & in-line with the cost of similar services at other locations. I am super ecstatic about Hands Of Essence & this will now be my go-to-massage salon.

Finding the location was a little tricky, since our GPS got us stuck in the library's parking lot. Don't go that way if your GPS tells you! However, all the massage places in the area have the same increase. There is free parking with two designated spots since it is a busy strip. They do well with limited English. Things they could do to make it five stars: my roommate and I noticed, they do not consistently have the same amount of time. I set my watch now. They could put a sign on the door when full so the workers don't have to leave to answer the door and phone. I'd love if they could get the hot towels ready in the room--they are all big enough--so no one is freezing while waiting for the massage personnel to return. And don't ask for more of a tip; it's just tacky.

It was a surprise gift for my husband's birthday so it was last minute. I called in the morning requesting a couples massage. I was hopeful that I could at least get an hour, but instead, we were able to get a 2 hour massage at 7:30pm. It was perfectly relaxing, thorough, and deep tissue with hot stones. I could feel the deepness, and yet it was not painful. My husband was overly impressed! We were worried at first because the atmosphere was not like a spa or traditional massage place we normally go to, but it was clean, relaxing, and super affordable for the quality received.
