I have been to this location multiple times , recently was 3 times this past week . The restaurant is extremely clean (one of the cleanest if not the cleanest Groucho's) service is hit and miss on how friendly they are . Most likely because they are short staffed and they are tired . Food is constant and always good . Never have had any issues with food or a bad employee . Service is right on and food is always great without exception. There is never a delay when picking up an order placed by phone.

I love Grouchos Deli! we lived in Columbia for many years and enjoyed the Five Points location. after moving to Greenwood, we always made sure to go to the Irmo location when we were driving through Columbia. I was excited to hear one of Columbia's favorite delis was coming to town. They have a variety of items to choose from. I usually get the STP dipper because that Formula 45 sauce is delicious. Bread is always fresh and good customer service. When wanting a sandwich this should definitely be a place to dine at. read more

My family and I are suckers for trying new places to eat. We just moved to Greenwood and wanted to explore a little so we decided to pop into this place and try it. The staff was so friendly and I was highly amused with the menu because the meals choices all have funny names and it's great. Not to mention they let you keep the menu to go home with!!! My father in law ordered a 'Big Dipper' and said it was delicious and I ordered a 'Pink Moose' and it was good. Whenever we go back we'll trying some other options though because they've got a huge menu and so many things to choose from. Also, the meals all come with chips & a pickle but drinks are not included. Though we still got drinks and their sweet tea is on point. read more

Massively disappointed on our first order from this place. We had been looking forward to this place. After looking at the menu from DoorDash we ordered The Corned Beef Sandwich with it's large amount of veggies listed(this was what my wife wanted). My partner took me here after having a good experience at the Columbia location but unfortunately we didn't have a good time. Being restaurant folks ourselves we could see that they were understaffed. Took a while for our server to get to us to get our drinks. Then they had a line of people from who were wanting to sit down or were there to pick up online orders that were incomplete. A gentlemen from the kitchen actually came out and took our order to help out the server. Took about an hour to get our food and initially we got brought the wrong food. It belonged to the table behind us. Then my sandwich was missing the sauerkraut and I asked for her to just bring me out a side of it because I could just put it on my sandwich no big deal but it just wasn't the same because it hadn't been heated up by being on my hot Reuben. Just not quite the same. My partner ordered a pita sandwich that was supposed to come with pretzels and mustard but he was just given normal chips. It was obviously a summer/new meal promotion but he was looking forward to them and if they were out of them we'd of just loved to have just been informed. It was super cold in there which is nice because it's been hot as heck outside this summer but after being in there so long we were a little frozen. When we went to pay the tip screen was on a computer screen that didn't turn properly and the actual card reader was all the way on the other side of the counter. I feel bad for staff for having to explain where each thing was over and over again to every customer. Friendly staff but you could just tell they were understaffed and overwhelmed so the little details they missed that we found disappointing stacked up so I'm speaking mostly to the higher ups at corporate here by saying help these folks out! Excellent food every time. I live in FL but ate here several times while in Greenwood. Never disappointed.
