There is a basement play room for where the younger kids can play while they wait to be called in. The receptionists are courteous and always on top of things...very efficient. They greet the kids as they walk up come in the sign in. Dr Shank embraces technologies. He has a web site where you can check your appointments, and register for TXT reminder for appointment. Recently he sent out mail and emails about an event he was having to show his appreciation for his patients. A day when any one of his patients could come in a get free ice cream. A small gesture, but a very thoughtful one. Went there today to have my son's braces adjusted (only ran into 2 people that we knew), and he walked out with an Italian Ice. :)

I asked for a same-day or next-day appointment as I am trying to get pregnant, and my doctor believed I had a dangerous cyst and wanted me to get an MRI with contrast on it. Well, this woman called all these locations, got the pre-approval, and worked her magic. I was extremely impressed with the customer service. The second thing that happened was when I got there I got all setup and the NP I believe found out I was looking to get pregnant and was concerned that the cyst may not be a cyst and could be a follicle since it was over a month since not getting my period. She did a normal preg test but it was neg but it could be just that I was early. The thing that I loved was that she was so concerned and understood what my concerns were and asked that I come back a different day after my blood work came back with a negative preg test. I am so I'm[dressed that she was truly concerned and thought what was best for me. I feel so comfortable and thankful for people looking out for others and not proceeding with something that could harm a baby if this were to be done... so Kudos to that NP! Day of surgery, same thing waited 40 after my appointment time for the dr to finally come in. Post surgery they were supposed to send medicine to my pharmacy and never did. Two weeks later at my check up appt they ask about my medicine to which I replied that they hadn't sent it and said they would right away but again, never did. If you could go back and skip this office I would. Definitely do not recommend
