He speaks directly to him, instead of to me (even when my son was very young he did this), and he educates him about the importance of wearing sunscreen, his bicycle helmet, etc. We rarely have to wait, because he is quite timely in keeping appointments, and put it this way - when our insurance temporarily changed for about a year, we paid out of pocket to keep him as our doctor. That's how good he is. I also think that technically he is very good. He keeps up to date about the latest research and often discusses it when letting me know why he is recommending a certain approach. Every doctor should be this personable and knowledgeable.

PATHETIC! 5 times I connected with the switchboard. 2 times,…read morethe quick and curt operator mentioned that they couldn't hear me because my connection was breaking up. [As if I personally was able to control that.] And the other 3 times were also a waste of time as they were like "WHO?!", when I pronounced the name of the doctor that I saw. I even spelled it for them, and they said , "That's the first name?" Reminder to self! Either find a more courteous hospital network or a different doctor whose name is somewhat easy to pronounce. I thought it would be easier to say 'Laique Imtiaz' . If the Fn hospital switchboard operators (at whatever they get paid per hour) CANNOT handle the work details OR dealing with human patients at let's guess $33.95 an hour to act pissed off at people for calling their switchboard then maybe they should look into re-schooling themselves or perhaps stretch their boundaries with working out their issues of not being courteous OR having the slightest bit of patience with people who call them up with questions!
