PATHETIC! 5 times I connected with the switchboard. 2 times,…read morethe quick and curt operator mentioned that they couldn't hear me because my connection was breaking up. [As if I personally was able to control that.] And the other 3 times were also a waste of time as they were like "WHO?!", when I pronounced the name of the doctor that I saw. I even spelled it for them, and they said , "That's the first name?" Reminder to self! Either find a more courteous hospital network or a different doctor whose name is somewhat easy to pronounce. I thought it would be easier to say 'Laique Imtiaz' . If the Fn hospital switchboard operators (at whatever they get paid per hour) CANNOT handle the work details OR dealing with human patients at let's guess $33.95 an hour to act pissed off at people for calling their switchboard then maybe they should look into re-schooling themselves or perhaps stretch their boundaries with working out their issues of not being courteous OR having the slightest bit of patience with people who call them up with questions! I'm so pissed off at the absolute garbage experience I've had with them every time I've had to call them or see them. I would suspend their asses until they could get their together. I took him my MRI and he said he could help me without surgery. Explained his Prolotherapy is not a actually replacement of the knee but a masking that rebuilds. And depending how much I use the knee it could last up to 5 plus yrs. It has been nearly 15 yr since my first Prolo shots. And I am back for another dose.. Many ask why the shots verses the surgery. For me personally. I do not like to go under the knife at all. So better the needle then the knife. Not when I was younger and faster to heal nor older now and healing is not as fast. The Prolotherapy is a serum he shoots in your problem area. It literally goes into your body and brings in new cells and rebuild the areas. I personally can say this works on knees when your cartridge is torn, worn and meniscus is no longer there. I came in on crutches and in 2 relaxing days I was walking again. I have been a patient of a fabulous and detailed-oriented Dr (Dr Bahar Jahanbin) and other drs in the practice. Everyone is truly amazing. It does get busy there, so I wanted to be seen sooner (as I was seen at LVHN Express Care last Thursday for a fall. I decided to book my appt. with Dr Ahluwalia in Northampton this morning. I was extremely fortunate to schedule an 8:20 am appointment at his office for today. Shay (reception/registration, etc.) was incredibly kind and efficient. The nurse, Michelle, was very knowledgeable, caring and good at getting through my nervousness. Today I was able to get a referral for physical therapy (starting this week)! And a prescription for a walker with an attached seat. This is so that I won't reinjure myself while healing. Dr. Ahluwalia is very good at including the entire treatment team in notes and correspondence. Several of my medications can cause dizziness, so we are going to try to lower doses slowly. This includes psychiatric meds from my Psychiatrist, Dr Zemanek. If you are looking for someone who listens and understands a great deal about medication interactions, this is a great place to go.
