During my recent visit with Dr. Hightower I didn't feel that I got the attention I needed and he seemed a bit rushed, and this not the first time. When discussing my x-rays during recent visit he said I now have 1-2 degenerative discs, I couldnt tell which, and then moved on to something else. I tried to butt in and say, wait a minute, this is the first time the images have showed degeneration in the disc and I wanted to know, if possible, why, and what to do about it, and if the disc was contributing to my hip pain. Never got a clear answer. I tried to ask more questions about causes, treatment options, follow up, but Dr. Hightower seemed like he had something else that he needed to do.

Their facilities are excellent, the staff is friendly, and I have been happy with my care.

Dr. Charles Hightower is a very great surgeon. The pre-op was great---especially the new technical…read morestuff in his office. The surgery went well and I was recovering very quickly. However, I got an infection/allergy on my leg and Dr. Hightower consulted 2 other doctors and really did a fantastic job problem solving the issue. He is caring and explains everything so well. I recommend Dr. Hightower if you need a knee replacement. Besides.....he grew up in Fairbanks. What can be better than that?

My mother broke her foot in a different state. We didn't have the images but had the X-ray report…read morewith the findings. Lynne made an appointment. I came in the day prior to drop off the X-ray report. Ron refuses to even look at the report and told me that she did not have the appointment because she did not have the images. I WAS. A patient there and asked why would you treat a patient that way and he simply stated that she was not a patient. Lynn was wonderful and Ron was a absolute nightmare. I explained the urgency of the matter and he told me too bad because I didn't have the actual images. My elderly mother has a broken foot and RON cancelled her appointment. Shame on you Ron. Shame on you. I am no longer a patient there and will pass my opinion on to my military family and friends. The only reason I leave a one star review is because of Lynn and Dr. Hightower
