I have been going to family practice for 25 years and I have always gotten good service and good care. I know the place has been very busy and there have been times that it wasn't perfect but I still received good care. I have seen many different doctors there and some were better than others. The phone is answered by the cashier - makes you think. Communication with regards to prescriptions is poor, at best. I had a question about a prescription, I went in to discuss it (because they don't do phones well) and they ended up charging my insurance company for an extra visit. Hmm read more

Had an appointment scheduled for 10:45 this morning. I called in promptly at 10:45 as it was to be a virtual appointment and they hadn't specified if I was supposed to call them or if they would be calling me. I was told they would be calling me right back. I waited 35 more minutes, no call. I called back in and was told I had missed my appointment and thus would need to be rescheduled. When I explained I had previously called in right at 10:45 they told me too bad, they still needed to reschedule. I also pointed out that I had taken the morning off work for this appointment and I do not have paid time off, again too bad because I missed my appointment. Excuse me I did not miss my appointment they did! I might not be a doctor but my time is valuable too. DO NOT APPRECIATE being treated like I don't matter for my very first experience with this practice. I will find another doctor, even if that means flying out of town to see one who actually values me as a patient and my time. read more

The wait for my appointment was short the staff friendly and professional. They still take new patients! Try to get in at any other Medical office for an appointment. I have been a patient there for 30 years and always have been treated with respect and dignity. I'm supporting this business as it is a real asset to the community. We currently have an Heroin epidemic here in Juneau. This business supports individuals with addiction issues by initial counseling and referring patients to additional support avenues like prescribing the drug Vivitrol. read more

Every appointment is handled excellently, the physicians and staff are exceptional, and I would be hard-pressed to even try to locate another doctor that could come up to the high standard they exhibit and that I've experienced. I went in for an appointment for routine preventative care, and was charged for diagnostic services that I both did not receive or ask for. The office manager was very unreasonable about correcting this--I would suggest that everyone avoid this business and their unethical business practices! read more

I've been seeing Dr. Eric Olsen for decades now, and am happy with him. He always spends a fair amount of time with me, answers my questions, and charges a reasonable amount. It is easy to get ahold of him through his competent nurse, and calls are returned promptly. I have no complaints. read more
