Peace of Mind is bonded and insured. Ms. Creel is the proprietor and a Registered Veterinary Technician. She offers a couple of levels of service, visiting the house as needed or even sleeping over to care for pets. Ms. Creel met us at the house. She provide references and proof of insurance. We worked through a checklist of the dog's needs and habits. She then spent time with the dog. We agreed on a twice a day schedule to visit the house which included a substantial walk every evening. She also agreed to pick up the newspaper, mail and water a few plants. While we were away, Ms. Creel took great care of our shedding monster. She texted us regularly with updates, and left a running series of notes on how the day went. We have used Ms. Creel 3X in the past year and hope to continue using her. It is about twice the cost of boarding the dog which is well worth the peace of mind (no pun intended). I strongly recommend Peace of Mind and Ms. Creel. She set up some in-house consultation time with me to meet her (Sarah) as well as the pet-sitter that would be responsible for my kitties. They were both lovely and I felt comfortable with them. I booked ( through the online portal) the days I needed her to visit the kitties ( I have 2 persian cats). Each visit is 30 minutes and costs around $20 per visit and then an extra $3 per cat. I document each cats details on the portal as well as instructions for them to follow. Updates are sent through the customer portal. I always feel as ease knowing that my kitties are being taken care of. They send daily updates through the portal with cute pics of your pet. I Just have to mention that when Hurricane Barry was said to impact New Orleans, my hubby and i decided to leave because we have a newborn and couldn't risk staying in New Orleans. I called Sarah the day we left and asked her if she could see to the cats while we were away and she agreed too. She is truly our life saver. We played it by ear and because the storms weren't too bad she was able to check on them daily keeping me informed the entire time. She even picked up my packages for me at no additional cost as this was separate visit. If you are considering their services, don't hesitate and book it now. I worked with the company for about 2 1/2 years and loved forming the relationships with all the furry clients and with Brendan(owner) and Elizabeth (operations manager) . You can rest assured the team members caring for your fur babies will love your pets and give them wonderful care, as I did. They also spend as much time as needed communicating with owners to book services, or answer any questions or concerns you may have. Brendan is one of those bosses that truly appreciates your hard work and always lets you know it. He is honest and fair in all aspects of his business. I have worked for other pet care/boarding business in the New Orleans area and can honestly say I would much rather have my pets stay in the safety and comfort of their home than go to a boarding facility.
