Dr. Jenny, Dr. Stephanie, and the entire team at Canal Street Vet are nothing short of…read moreextraordinary. They have cared for many of our beloved animals over many years, and we cannot imagine entrusting their health and well-being to anyone else.
Most notably, the care they have provided for our 18-year-old cat, Louis, has been nothing short of miraculous.
Nearly two years ago, we began noticing a decline in Louis's health. Through individualized care including supplements, dietary adjustments, and other noninvasive treatment, they have helped us restore his vitality and quality of life. It became hard to believe he was a senior cat at all, much less approaching 18 years old!
More recently, Louis experienced another setback. He began withdrawing, lost his appetite, and clearly wasn't feeling himself. We expressed to the team at Canal Street Vet that our primary concern is that he lives a happy life over a prolonged one. Thanks to their expertise, compassion, and carefully considered recommendations, Louis has made another remarkable turnaround.
Today, I would rate his quality of life a 9 out of 10. He's playful, making his jumps, running up and down the stairs multiple times a day, and most importantly, genuinely enjoying his life. At his age, this is an extraordinary gift.
We treasure every single day we get to spend with Louis, especially knowing how precious these golden years are. We are profoundly grateful to Dr. Jenny, Dr. Stephanie, and the entire Canal Street Vet team for helping us give him not just more time, but more GOOD time.
Their dedication, knowledge, and genuine love for animals have meant the world to our family. We have no doubt that without their exceptional care, we would not be enjoying these precious years with Louis.
