Had a trailer tire blow out about 10 miles east of the shop on I40. We used our only mounted spare, but had another unmounted new tire. Found Groneman on Yelp and took it to them to mount and get rid of the old tire. We were in and out in 6 minutes. Looks like we're gonna make it to In N Out in Flagstaff before closing. read more

I was nothing but nice and respectful to the people here, but it was not returned. Based on my experience here, the west Texas friendliness and hospitality with which I was raised to treat others may be disappearing. When I walked in, three or four men and one woman were sitting idly. There's nothing wrong with that. However, when I asked them to rotate my tires, you would have thought I asked for a kidney. The men begrudgingly got up to do it and ignored me twice when I asked them to cut off a piece of plastic that was rubbing a tire. When I asked a third time, still trying to win them over with kindness, one of them grabbed a box cutter and took the extra ten seconds to do it. The whole thing took about five minutes. There was no offer to balance them or check my fluids or anything, even though they knew I was traveling, and it didn't occur to me to ask until later. I don't think anyone there smiled at me once the whole time. read more

The alternator went out on my truck on a long trip back from New Mexico. Originally, we wanted to make it to Amarillo but the truck finally died in the parking lot of a Days Inn in Vega. The next morning I called Groneman and within 20 minutes they were there to look at the truck. They jumped it and took it to their shop. Within 2 hours from start-to-finish we were back on the road. I didn't give 5 stars because their price for my repair was about $100 more than what my local mechanic told me it would have cost at his shop. read more
