My wife and I always like stopping here before going to Safeway. Most of the time you can find great deals on food. I think their turkey deal is far greater than what the other grocery chain stores are offering. The service could be better but it's a grocery store. I don't expect to be waited on like a restaurant. read more

Definitely will return here! Great produce section.. not large but everything we needed was fresh and can't beat the prices! Tidy, well taken care of store with lots of variety.. many healthier type items.. Mt husband found many things to throw into his smoothies! Meat section also small but very interesting items! Felicity was our cashier and she was friendly and helpful..she had a smile for every customer (even if the customers weren't all friendly). Lots of parking, nice hours, safe area. Not at all crowded but then again Sunday morning in Lynden.. we will be back! read more

Situated next to the Lynden Safeway, I usually shop first here, then go to Safeway for anything I couldn't find. Each has rather different offerings. The Grocery Outlet's variety and prices are excellent value for your hard earned money. Every visit I notice happy Canadian customers commenting on the reasonable prices. read more

This is a new location and I am so pleased! Great parking, clean store, and lots of deals. The selection is good and seems to be very well priced. The fruit was fresh. Great deal on dry goods such as healthy chips, granola bars, etc. Staff was busy putting out new items. If you are a bargain shopper this is the place to go. They also honor Military & Veterans with a small discount. read more

Loved the store. Prices etc. I give one star due to poor customer service. I was there the other night with my kiddos and the older lady that looked tired when I told her I would like my items bagged pushed all scanned items to end and told me I would have to do it. 1st off I don't work there and it isn't my job. 2nd. That is rude as heck. 3rd. It would be nice if there is a sign or something for EBT paying folks to know they still have to pay for bags. ...Glad I had my kids with me to do the bagging since I just had arm surgery the previous day and had it immobilized. read more

We received the most gorgeous and full Christmas food gift basket created and delivered by Grocery Outlet! There was a wide variety of fruits, cheeses, salami, crackers, chocolates and even two bottles of sparkling apple cider! I would highly recommend their baskets for their quality and variety! If we need to send a gift basket for someone special, we will definitely call Grocery Outlet again! read more

I was out in the Linden area today from Bellingham and was getting things to make spaghetti . I got some spaghetti sauce and a yellow onion for my dinner. I called and complained letting them know the teller didn't put the onion in my bag. I was told by the manager that if I come in they will give me another onion. I live in Bellingham and the nearest grocery outlet is 12 miles away and Lynden is even further away. With gas prices the way they are it's not worth it. It makes it hard to go into grocery outlets and feel like I will be taken care of if a mistake is made. Very disappointed read more

I spent over $150 there today but I had a little problem with the cucumbers for $0.89 each. They wouldn't reduce them for me. in fact, their whole produce section look like ass. their grapes were terrible their cucumbers were terrible their grapefruits were terrible I had to dig through berries just to get a good one. your store better get your stuff together or I'm going to start going to Troy and Tina's or Larry and Beth's store instead. stop charging full price for bad produce. remember you're new to the neighborhood I'm not and I know a lot more people than you. read more

I've frequented Grocery Outlet in Lynden since they opened and have almost always had a reasonable experience. The prices are great and they have a reasonable selection. The employees have been friendly and welcoming for the most part. Unfortunately their employee Juan, who has declared himself the mask Czar, has begun harassing customers and talking openly in disparaging language as soon as customers not wearing masks leave. During a recent encounter I witnessed his open hostility to my family members not wearing masks directly and with great hostility and no compassio. After the direct confrontation I then overheard him disparaging them loudly to other employees and customers as "the problem with society" and "the reason for all of this" when he believed their party had departed, not realizing I was still in the checkout line. It seamed like an absolute power trip as he bragged to another young employee about his power to "just kick people like them out forever next time" because "they have no place In society." read more

I was so very excited to experience the grand opening event of this new location! I was very happy to wait in line with everyone else. We were given cards to fill out for free groceries for a year, plus when we entered the store we were given gift cards ranging from 5 to 200.00, money was 10.00 which I though was fantastic. The new store is absolutely beautiful. Well stocked with great prices and lots of items to choose from. It was worth the trip to Lynden. Thank you for a great new shopping option. Great place, great deals, healthy food options. It's always a fun, little adventure to hunt out some especially good deals. If you have children and need to stock up on snacks for the week I would recommend checking here first. They have unique and super fun foods you may have never seen before. And as I mentioned before, they have GREAT health conscious items to choose form. The staff has been so friendly and happy every time I've gone. This is my go to spot for my groceries. read more

Great place to shop, have a lot of products getting near their expiration date, hence their prices. Also have other goods in their miscellaneous section that is always enjoyable to browse through. Have made the mistake of not buying when I see something a couple of times because sometimes when it is gone, it does not come back. Well worth the time to check it out. read more

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE GROCERY OUTLET they always have amazing deals! The only downside is the costumer service. I go here OFTEN every time I need groceries and I'm always unsatisfied with the cashiers. Very rude, don't say hello or have a nice day. There's this specific lady that works there that threw my bag at me once. I would like to amend my previous review. I made some negative remarks about the store not having what they advertised. I have come to find out that the ads are put out by their corporate office and may not apply to all stores. I now plan on spending more time looking for some of their excellent bargains. They are much like Costco in that they don't always have what they had last time-so my advice is: when you see a good bargain buy some extra as they may not have it next time. The store mgr/owner (Monte) is really a good guy and will listen or even make an exchange if you don't like what you buy. read more
