a hand holding a cone of ice cream

Absolutely delicious ice cream for an unbeatable price! This is a must stop if you are in the Lynden area! The staff is very friendly and their ice cream is great quality! We got a double scoop of ice cream for less than $5! The french vanilla was creamy and so good! They also sell their ice cream by the gallon in large containers and have seating inside. Lots of families together enjoying ice cream which made it a nice spot.

I was thrilled to find this gem in the area. We had pizza at Border Town pizza then had a sweet tooth. It was a busy establishment. Very large open area with to go dairy products and and ice cream case. They offered free samples and are hefty scoopers! We all got kid scoops and boy oh boy were they big. I got mint chocolate chip but it was alright, the fudgy wudgy was delicious and extremely chocolatey. The ice cream was nice and creamy.

So fun to relive your childhood and go out for ice cream. Nothing but that. Is there anything like an ice cream run? And even better when it's a place with this much history and link to the local Dutch and dairy culture. I got a double scoop of Tin Roof Sundae and Mocha Almond Fudge. I will say that the Mocha was VERY strong - a bit too much for me but you can definitely tell it's homemade! The Tin Roof Sundae was delish. My friend ordered a sundae and demolished it in short order. You can also purchase dairy and Dutch goodies from their store. A must stop in Lynden and a highlight of our trip.

Coffee swirl ice cream dipped in chocolate chips and instant coffee

This is a local spot and I believe I saw the dairy up closer to the Canadian border. My assumption is that they use all fresh local ingredients and the ice cream is handmade. The ice cream was very creamy. My husband was completely wowed by the vanilla. Said it was so good! I had the coffee swirl which ended up being so soft it was like eating soft serve ice cream. Not sure why. Maybe it wasn't completely frozen yet. I wanted chocolate sprinkles but they only had rainbow so I opted for the chips and what I thought was coffee sprinkles. It was literally instant coffee! Mixed with the chocolate it ended up being a good topping to go with the coffee and chocolate swirl ice cream! Lil Miss liked her Mango but I didn't try it. I support local business and this place was pretty good. The inside is half mini market and half ice cream/sandwich shop.

White chocolate "raspberry" ice cream

This place has gone dutch, like not in a good way at all that bad super cheap way. Just look at the pictures, they speak for themselves. Might as well have just bought vanilla ice cream and chocolate ice cream. Saving $ by putting less of the fudge or raspberry in the ice cream, won't be coming back to this place.

If you are going to go on a sugar splurge, this is the place. A lot of choices and if you don't scream for ice cream they also have a little market with Scandinavian type treats.

Such a great stop for ice cream treats, sandwiches, and corner store if you need milk, eggs, butter, bread, cheese, etc and don't want to stop at a bigger grocery store. Always friendly & busy staff. Can be a little confusing with the line. You are to order at the register first then go sample & pick your flavors. Wish that was a little more clear as it makes the pick up/getting ice cream more congested area and tons of peering people over your shoulder.

Cheers!

My boyfriend found this sweet ice cream parlor and lucky shared this gem with me! Definitely worth taking the short drive from Bham to Lynden for this guilty pleasure of fresh ice cream. They were very generous with the servings which was a plus:) Hope to come visit again soon:) I didn't realize until afterwards, that Western Washington University sells a variety of Edaleen's dairy products which is super awesome! Supporting local businesses.

Ice cream is ok. Atmosphere isn't awful. Wouldn't go again. Remodel the place. Feels dirty.

I love this dairy and began craving their ice cream before I even left the house, knowing I'd be passing by one of the Edaleens on my way to Vancouver. The young folks who work here are always really pleasant and don't mind you tasting several of the ice creams before making your final decision. I was so thrilled to try the fudgy wudgy and passion fruit guava this time - a departure from my usual choices, and oh so good! Seems like I'm always crossing the border with an ice cream cone in one hand these days - I'm sure they are used to it by now!

I'm pretty boring, so I got mint chocolate chip, but you can combine them and make a unique flavor profile just for you. My friend got butter pecan and coffee chocolate chip, which was pretty amazing. It was friendly, the place was clean, and it was easy to just pop in. It's pretty inexpensive and worth the stop. The store is decently big, and their selection includes not just ice cream but ice cream cakes, tubs to take home, and milkshakes. Pull in, get a treat, and enjoy!

Attention to detail is very nice. The paper lining on food basket was surprising. Found out today i might not be a fan of smash burgers. While it's good much prefer the juicy burger rather than crispy bites of meat. It still had all the great flavor profiles worthy of a high rating though it was a bit salty. After both tables emptied a single person came in and sat down--he didn't use a menu so he appeared to be a regular. We ordered one salmon dip appetizer which tasted good but was mostly cheese. The disappointment came with both our entrees. The Blazing BBQ Burger patty was overcooked and dry--no pink inside--and not a drop of juice. The BBQ sauce and Thousand Island-type dressing on the top bun did not help the dryness. The flavors of the jalapeño bacon, ghost pepper cheese chile relleno and BBQ sauce were a good choice. Overall the burger was just OK. Never ordering this again. The second entrée was a French Dip. A good portion of beef and a plentiful amount of au jus. The French Fries for both entrees were the bomb. We will come back again to try again.
