I told them this my first visit and they took the time to get to know me, help me try to get comfortable, and provide me medicine that I could take before my appointments to help me relax. I usually see Amber now and she is wonderful. She remembers things I've told her that are going on in my life, my kids names, etc. and it just makes you feel like a friend, not just a patient.

She started fighting with me when I said I got tension headaches, to which she explained that headaches aren't real, only migraines. And I had to get a new partial and get rid of the infection first to get the clearance. The young lady that assisted the Doctor was fantastic. A great sense of humor that put me at ease right away. When the Doctor was giving me the numbing medication the assistant ((Shianne) rubbed my arm to distract me from the pain. It was the first time I didn't tense up while getting the numbing medication. You know with the needle that looks 1'ft long! Shianne was funny and very professional. Like I said " She put me at ease right away". The doctor Dr. Ahmad was quick and professional. When I went to switch dentists I looked for a new spot because I didn't feel properly cared for at my last clinic and I was right to come to Goulet. They did my initial cleaning and were beyond gentle and thorough. Dr. Goulet did a full teeth check up after one of the hygienist cleaned my teeth and did x-rays. He said my teeth and gum care were great but was concerned about my cracked filling. I wasn't aware I even had a cracked filling because my previous dentist didn't mention it or even suggest repair! He asked how long my tooth had been like that and I told him since 2018 when my orthodontist had accidentally chipped it off. I was assured by both ortho and my last dentist that this was fine and no repair was needed but come to find out it had been leaking all this time! Dr. Goulet was fast to book me for a repair. I was super nervous (eek mouth stuff) but he is amazing with the numbing needle and I didn't feel anything after the initial "pinch" - which even that was barely painful. He takes his client care so seriously but also calmly chatted with me that he was finished before I knew it.. The hygienist assisting even held my hand because I was so nervous. They treated me with so much care and compassion. They checked the fit of my retainer over the repair and made adjustments right there. I had another cleaning 6 month later and today just had my 3rd cleaning with Fatima. She was so gentle and thorough. She was quite careful with 2 sensitive teeth I had and even went the extra mile to floss between my permanent retainers :) I'm very happy with the Goulet team. The office is so cozy too! The waiting room couch is comfortable and the receptionist always offers such a warm welcome. The dental chairs are comfortable too! They also offer $75 teeth whitening which I will be having done at my June appointment so I'll be sure to update then!

Was very happy with the cleaning so I went back. The second time I went in to get my teeth cleaned, it was a newer hygienist and she was not prepared. Spent 10-15 min when I first sat down getting her things together. Then after the Dr checked me out, she spent MAYBE a total of 15 min cleaning my teeth. She had made a comment about how good my teeth look, and I think that therefore meant to her that she didn't need to spend time actually doing a deep clean. Which is absolutely not how that works. If I'm spending $300 out of pocket for you to clean my teeth, you'd better be looking in all the little nooks and crannies. I was in and out of that office in under an hour and was very upset at the cleaning I received. I tried to talk to the front desk about it but they were very uninterested and far from helpful. Basically gave me a, "Oh well. Pay us the $300." Will never return here.
