An absolutely wonderful dining. Casual dining which I always like. Friendly and courteous staff. Visiting the Houston area and was looking for authentic Tex-Mex experience. Drinks, appetizers, entrée, desert was all delicious. When I visit again this is a must on my list of stops. read more

The food here is good and it is a very clean place. The service is also really good. There was a little misunderstanding about pricing but my waiter Cameron was awesome and fixed the problem immediately. Also I always like to acknowledge good management. The manager on duty Armando came over to the table and spoke with us. He was very professional and I appreciate the way he handled the situation. read more

This place was great! Great service and food and the bartender Oscar is awesome! You won't wait on food or drinks long at all. I'll be back. read more

Horrible attention to detail..last 3 orders to go have been missing major items..apparently there is no quality control at this location...lazy read more

I ordered Shrimp Fajitas. Menu said fajitas included grated cheese. Mine came with melted butter. I asked for cheese, the waitress and manager said you don't get cheese with the shrimp. THE MENU CLEARLY STATES GRATED CHEESE IS INCLUDED WITH GRILLED SHRIMP FAJITAS. Furthermore, the vegetables (onion, mushroom, peppers and zucchini) were charred black and crispy. My companion ordered chicken fajitas, she got grated cheese. For her vegetables she got about 1/8 cup of onions, nothing else. Cooked perfectly. For these prices, I expect so much more from Gringo's. This was very disappointing. read more

Yummy... If you don't mind waiting on Friday or Saturday nights! We go about once ever two weeks and I usually order the seafood enchiladas. They are so good and flavorful! The flautas are awesome, too. Hubbs usually gets the bacon wrapped shrimp and always finishes his plate. Son gets the kid's cheese quesadilla and those are pretty good. Their green sauce is muy delicioso. Holy moly, I could put it in a glass and drink it with a straw! Maybe I will do that next time I go. Staff is friendly, keeps the drinks full and the chips coming! Even the soft serve is great (I get the swirl). But it is usually a 30 minute wait on Friday or Saturday nights, so be ready for that! read more

Best Mexican around! My husband and I eat here all the time. The border sampler is an awesome appetizer! The service is amazing, even for to-go orders. Gaby is so professional and great at her job. We love the pollo loco! And their taquitos are so yummy! Obsessed with the green sauce, we put it on everything. Then to top it off you get free soft serve ice cream, what beats that! Would recommend to everyone. read more

Todays visit was great. Fantastic service and fantastic food. The Presidente with 2 Margaritas hit the spot. Our waitress, Cherie, was awesome! The family and I are very satisfied. read more

Oscar is always amazing and evertime we go to Gringos we ask for his section. Very good food and we love the service when we get Oscar. When he is not there, the service is ok and the quality is above ok. He stands apart because we have been going there for so long he knows our order, and he always checks it for us and pays attention to detail. Ivan is also a great server and took great care of us today. We ordered my nephew a queso, my nephew asked him for his own, so he brought out a tiny Bowl. read more

Gringo's Mexican Kitchen - Mexican Near Me - Rosenberg, Texas

This is the favorite restaurant of a good friend of ours. he and his wife love to eat here once or twice a week. We jointhem perhaps once a month. The food is OK, and it is usually very busy. However the staff pleasant the service is wonderful and the bar service is outstanding. I highly recommend the top shelf margaritas. read more

I love gringos!!!! But the last time we was there my son got a beef quesadilla plate and my cousin a hamburger, the next day they was sick, vomited all the food, miss school and work day... not sure if we coming back. read more

Super good!!! I was super full and satisfied!!! I had the flautas and my partner had the chimichanga, they were both delicious. And our server Andrew was very nice and accommodating!!! read more

Love this place!! I go here at least once a week and sit at the bar and have drinks and nachos. The bartenders are always cool and lots of friendly people to chat with. Cool relaxed atmosphere! read more

Always busy, but always pretty good. I have been to this Rosenberg location 3 times now and it's okay, I know it's a chain and you would expect the food to be the same at all of them, but it's not. I prefer the Missouri City/Stafford store. The wait staff at both are very good and come by as often as you need them too, without bugging you to death. The food is just better at the Missouri City location. It is always hot when it gets to the table unlike the Rosenberg location. The flavors are spot on at the M.C. store, and it just seems to me the Rosenberg location is just missing the mark. read more

I have eaten at this Gringos 2-3 times. I ate there for lunch yesterday (Monday - 12/3/12). As usual, the food and service was AMAZING. The hostess greeted us at the door with a smile and took us right to our table. The server was friendly, accommodating and efficient. I order the Pollo Loco and my girlfriend had chicken fajitas. We also had queso as an appetizer. Everything was hot, fresh and tasted great. The server dropped the check and took care of it quickly. She thanked us and invited us back. The hostess actually opened the door as we left. GREAT SERVICE! I will say that across Houston, Gringo's is inconsistent. I have eaten at a few other locations and the food was not near as good and the service was just ordinary. The managers at this location are obviously doing it right. I highly recommend this location. read more

I love the food at Gringos! If you are looking for a restaurant that will please a large group of people, look no further. The menu has a little something for everyone, and the service is good. The only reason I took 1 star away is that it can be a little on the noisy side. read more

A staple in our home. That green sauce though! Can't get enough! Everything I've ever tried from Gringos has been delicious. Can't recommend enough! read more

All the way from California to have some Mexican food in Texas! WOW! 5 Stars!!! The service was excellent! The chips and green sauce is INCREDIBLE! Food was AWESOME! We had the Shrimp Enchilada's with white sauce, refried beans and rice. The flavors were combined nicely. I will definitely be back! read more

It's just regular Tex Mex but It's comfort food. Fast and friendly service and my neighborhood Mexican place. Good value for the money in my opinion. read more

We use to love Gringo's until they changed and ruined their Green sauce. Use to be thick and creamy and nice. Now it's watery and way to spicy. It may save them money since it's not good anymore but not a good business move. Service still friendly and fast. We eat at other tex mex places now too but hopefully they will rethink the green sauce to be more customer satisfying. read more

The beef fajita Burrito is amazing!!! The green sauce served with the chips is great as well. The environment was a little loud the music was not Latin but pop American hence the name Gringo's. We were seated and served quickly. Im going back one day to try their Cadillac Margarita..... read more

First off let me mention that my wife used to work at this specific location. With that being said, I want to share with you on how their management holds their team to a high standard every single day/night. My wife always mentions to me on how serious they are about giving their customers a 5 star service. She always states what would happen if "x, y, or z" were to happen and how they would handle it urgently and with quality care. This is just some info on the staff's expectations from an past waitress. Now from a customer's view. We always get acknowledged every time we walk into this location by the host/hostess on if we have a dine-in or take-out. Than the waiters/waitress always are on top of being socialable, checking for refills on drinks and chips, and are quick with bringing out our food. Managers love to walk by asking how our experience is and if we have everything we need. One manager I have to shine on is Armando. He is always greeting us every time he sees us and if there ever is a mistake he is quick to get it taken care of on top of the other 100 things he's doing. I highly recommend to come to this Gringo's location for great service, great food, and great alcohol. Here are my personal recommendations: Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Pollo Marisco Chicken/Beef Fajitas And most importantly MARGARITAS (The Cadillac) read more

5 stars because the servers and food are A+++. Hostesses, aren't very welcoming. Queso is hands down the best! Margarita's amazing! Keep up the work, definitely work on the front of the house so it's 100% amazing experience read more

Food was good but service was terrible. Brought a ice tea minus the ice and waited 20 minutes to get a glass with ice. It was busy so I understand a wait but this was just uncalled for. Our waiter must have been assigned another area because we never saw him. My daughters food came after we were done with ours, my husband had only 1 refill of his tea and after waiting and waiting for the check we went to ask for it, the second time, at the hostess stand. read more

Hands down the best place nearby for chicken fajitas! My whole family loves their food and the service is excellent

Love the food. But I really wish they would have it on DoorDash in the Rosenberg area. I order it in Nov via DoorDash and now it is no longer on the DoorDash app!!! WHY WHY WHY??? read more

Chili Ground Beef Enchiladas, Beef Fajitas are great and their chili con queso is very good and if you like salsa it's excellent as well it's spicy. read more

Walked in the door super hungry after a long day at the office. Christian was our server, right off the back he approached my son and I with a super charged smile .. ready to serve!! This brought my energy wayyy up and I was ready to fellowship. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. He was so accommodating with each request!!! Christian is definitely a people person and has blessed us with exceptional service tonight. Christian is a major plus to this establishment, don't believe the hype .. stop in to experience his amazing professionalism and extraordinary customer service!!! read more

The service and food service has improved greatly over the past couple of years. They do a great job with small and larger parties. Definitely our family's favorite Tex Mex restaurant in Houston. read more

Great place to dine inn the staff is always tentative to your needs, nice clean place. The owner is very sweet The Pollo marisco is delicious, the chips and green sauce are the best around read more

How have I not written a review for this place?!? I'm here 2-3 times a month and these guys are consistently on top of it. The food is ALWAYS piping hot when it comes out. Sometimes I've had a waiter that will forget about me, but over the years I've learned if you treat them as people and not just your server you get better service. Usually a manager is out walking around- good to see. This place is doing lots of things right. My favorite dish is the pollo Marisco. Yum! read more

Fajita enchiladas are awesome! Chips and salsa are perfect. Will definitely be back when I am in Houston.

Ate at Gringo's last night. Have diarrhea!!! Need I say more. I will never eat there again!!!

Best Mexican food for the best price in Houston. The city's hometown Mexican restaurant. Their green sauce beats everyone else's green sauce. Their fajitas as not only wonderful but decently priced as well. Their salsa is not too spicy but still has the right kick. I've been to several different Gringo's, but tonight's experience kicked it up a notch with the excellent customer service by Ben. He was on top of things and made sure to get our order just right. In addition, the manager, Armando, seated us where we wanted himself! He made sure to check on us after the meal. Top notch food mixed with great service is a win! read more

Quick meal for my kiddos. The waitresses were very attentive. And the ice cream....pretty sure that's why my kids like it so much!

Since my last trip to Gringo's located in Stafford I decided to cut it out of my regular TexMex line up due to bland boredom. However, I arrive at this location and wow is it much better than I remember. Granted I haven't had Gringo's in over 4 years but now that I've moved to the area this place will be a local mainstay for me if I want franchise Mexican that is consistently good. Service is fast, the place gets packed, the food is always oozing fresh with quality cheese and meats. Margaritas keep spilling over and countless of laughs and conversations take place under this roof in Rosenberg!!! read more

I normally don't like chain restaurants but I love Gringos. The tortillas are great. I have never had a meal that wasn't good. Even the cheeseburger is delicious. The green salsa is the best. The only thing I'm not a fan of is their drinks. The margaritas just don't do it for me. read more

This is my absolute favorite Mexican food place. I prefer it over Escalantes. I love everything on their menu. I can't think of one thing bad to say. Waitstaff is very attentive. Chip/salsa guy is always there. Hostesses are friendly. It is always busy so expect to wait. I like the new addition in which to sit outside. Too bad there isn't an outdoor bar!! You have lots of luck seating for two than larger groups but we always wait. If they tell you it will be 20 min it is usually 10-15. It's loud inside but controllable, unlike other establishments where the noise just resonates. Love the bar area. I like sitting in there when there are only two of us but beware, it's always packed at the bar! When I call in a To-go order they are nice in the phone and the help at the to-go area is friendly too. Always a good time here. read more

Best fajitas in the history of the universe... No doubt about it. The fajita enchiladas are pretty "change your life delicious" as well.

The wait was over an hour but that's to be expected on a Saturday night. The drinks were good but the food is average. I would go just for the drinks and eat somewhere else. The staff was nice. read more
