G&R Home Remodeling: A Masterclass in Craftsmanship and Professionalism…read more We originally reached out to G&R Home Remodeling for a simple baseboard installation quote, but after learning they specialized in full kitchen and bathroom renovations, we asked them to provide an estimate for a much larger project. Before finding G&R, we interviewed numerous contractors. We saw everything from TikTok "stars" claiming to be the best in Murrieta to others who bragged about HGTV credentials only to provide wildly inflated quotes. When we met Giovanni, the difference was immediate. There was no BS--just a showcase of high-quality previous work and a clear focus on attention to detail. We felt confident hiring them on the spot. Once the demolition began, we knew we were in good hands. Giovanni was at our home every single day, personally overseeing the progress and patiently answering our many questions. As this was our first major renovation, his presence was incredibly reassuring. Throughout the process, we threw several mid-project changes and custom requests their way, including: Adding a pot filler and a wine cooler. Swapping the cabinet finish to a crisp white. Installing pendant lighting and rerouting electrical. Integrating a microwave into the island--a task other contractors insisted was impossible. Giovanni and his team handled every modification without issue, proving that their problem-solving skills match their technical ability. As you can see from the photos, the results speak for themselves. G&R Home Remodeling has earned our trust, and they will be our go-to contractor for every future project.

The drama could have been spared, had we realized that the reps will say anything and do nothing. After months of doing everything they asked, to get them to fix damage that's covered in the so-called 'warranty,' they finally came to look at a leak that developed during the months they refused to come. (By saying they Would come, but did not arrive.) After we fixed the leak ourselves, they finally arrived and added some tape. They told my husband on the phone that they were coming to re-Foam, but they didn't even re-Coat it. They never provided the promised pictures (in my earlier review.) In fact, the inspection report suggests that they also failed to do the original work for which the previous owner paid them. She never knew what a rip off it was. We will be hiring a different roofer who we know, who has done good work for us before, to foam the whole roof, where Foam Bond let us down. We would have called him first thing, had we a clue that the 'warranty' would not be honored and all we would get was lies and at long last a tiny patch of tape. I like to write positive reviews. It's been a drag having to write all this negative stuff, but at least it will count on Yelp and maybe help you decide to look elsewhere if you want truthful, reliable interactions and a good job done on your roof project.
