I was in the area and wanted to try a new coffee spot. It's a little trailer but they post the address of where they are at. I loved that they have very unique drinks and the drinks are visually very pretty. My husband ordered an horchata latte and I ordered the churro latte . The lady who was making the drinks was very accommodating because I told her I needed a sweet drink. They were delicious and very refreshing. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area.

You can't really see the full latte because it was so tasty I slurped up half of it so quickly! Grinding grounds is a great coffee spot for a strong, sweet flavored caffeinated drink. My children and I truly cherish our Saturday mornings at Grinding Grounds. We look forward to it each week, and we genuinely feel its absence on the rare days it's closed. The service is consistently warm, and the drinks are exceptional -- so much so that I often order multiple each visit because they're simply that delicious. I wholeheartedly choose to support Alicia over any large corporation. Every cup she makes reflects care, passion, and genuine love for her craft. Beyond being an incredibly talented barista, she is a beautiful person inside and out. Knowing the challenges she and her family are facing makes supporting this local business even more meaningful. All went well every single time we have been there. The young guy that she has working with her. Is so cute and sweet and polite to us. Every time we have been there. My absolute favorite coffee around the Stockton area! So much better than Starbucks or Dutch bros. The quality of coffee is top notch, the drinks are so original and taste great! The owners are sweet people and remember their frequent customers! The service is always quick and friendly! They offer coffees, smoothies, lemonades, and energy drink options for their custom drinks! They also have goodies they sell from a local vendor too. You can catch them around Stockton, their location is posted every week on their Instagram. Sometimes they make an appearance in Tracy or local events going on. They also have a Lodi store front. Love this spot! My new go to for coffee in Stockton so convenient near my house on the way out to work I choose this over Dutch bros any day. Coffee isn't overly sweet it's made just right. I don't know how my niece found this place, but she highly recommended this. I drove here from Elk Grove to try it and wow, now I know why she was raving about it. Soooo sooo goood! Ordered the Horchata Latte and the Strawberry Horchata and both exceeded my expectations. The strawberry horchata is quite refreshing and horchata latte gives you a caffeine kick. I believe they're open until 2 and they're usually in front of the Alegria Meat Market on Filbert St or at the WaterFront. They're on social media so you can follow them to see where they are at for the day. The owner's are really nice. Great service and coffee. read more

I got the strawberry horchata and it's so bomb. I can't stop thinking about it and I want one everyday. They also do half horchata and half ice coffee and it looks so good. I was looking for a local, POC owned coffee shop in the area and found this gem. The easiest way to track down their location is through their IG: grinding.grounds and today they were at Victor Park. I ordered the soy latte (hot) and it's not too sweet and well rounded. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their chai latte and their speciality drinks! The service was very friendly and attentive too. They made my order iced at first but when I told them I wanted it hot, they remade it and offered to give me the iced latte as well. It took me too long to go out and try this place! Their Instagram page is so tempting and they always share pictures of their coffee and pastries. **To get up to date schedule follow them in Instagram!! I ordered: puerquito latte chocolate chip cookie Coffee crumb muffin Puerquito latte is a piloncillo and gingerbread spice latte with whip cream and cajeta drizzle. This sounds like a very sweet drink that would mask the flavor of the coffee but OH BOY was this flavorful!! This is NOT overly sweet. The piloncillo (unprocessed cane sugar not the same as brown sugar but is similar in taste) gives this drink a tad of sweetness and the gingerbread flavor is there with cinnamon and nutmeg accents. Honestly, I was so surprised that I could still taste the coffee in this drink. The other flavors pair really well with the coffee instead of hiding the bitterness of the coffee. Well done guys!! Onto the sweets, I know they're baked by a local baker who uses farm fresh and high quality ingredients. Baked by BakeandTake209 (more info on Instagram). The chocolate chip cookie is BIG! I don't know how they do it to keep the cookie soft and chewy while making it so big! LOVED all the chocolate chips! The coffee cake muffin was very moist and smelled like cinnamon! I found this spot a few months ago while I was shopping at the Alegria Market. Oh, am I glad I discovered it. This place is amazing and the coffee is so good. I used to be a Barista at two coffee shops and I know good quality coffee when I taste it. Grinding Grounds has quality espresso and it's always pulled right every time. Hello my name is Alicia Gonzales and I am the owner of Grinding Grounds. Our services consist of hand crafted coffee, smoothies, refresher, energy infused, and baked goods. I am born and raised in San Joaquin County and I have spent the last 5 years in the coffee industry and the last 20 years serving our community in one way or another. My goal for this business is to reach our community with more than just coffee, I want to become their every day stop and a face and location they look forward to seeing. My ultimate goal is to later pass this business on to my children and continue serving our community for many years to come.

Vanilla Latte - 3.8/5: Solid and enjoyable. My overall rating leans closer to a 3.8 mainly because the service was slow and my drink order was initially messed up. The barista did correct it and even let me keep the extra drink, which I appreciated. However, I was also accidentally charged twice and had to get that adjusted. Overall, it's still a nice place to stop by for coffee, and I'd be open to giving it another try.

It was bright inside and they had the WiFi password prominently displayed, which makes this feel like a great study or remote work space and they were open a bit later. They offer coffee, tea, and snacks and we purchased a tea and coffee and sat for a while to catch up. The drinks were delicious and the team here was really helpful in selecting the drinks. I'd love to spend more time here in the future and try more of the menu.

In order for the 2 of…read moreus to get maximum exposure to Fork It's quality, ordered 1 12" Cowboy with BBQ sauce on the side; 1 12" Clucking Bacon Ranch, 1 chocolate cream pie, 1 coconut cream pie and a single order of onion rings. My husband called in the order and I advised him to get there early as things have a tendency to sell out. 15 minutes later he arrived in the small strip mall off Don & Hammer, happy to find a disabled spot almost right in front. The area itself is a bit sketchy but okay during the abbreviated hours, mostly 11AM-4PM.. Closed Saturdays and most Sundays. The two big bags of wonderful smelling food cost $70, and I will describe and show photos of just what you will receive. A special note for the owner's son, Big D. The fact you noticed my guy was both elderly and disabled and offering help with the bags was beyond and above. He doesn't mention it but he's still a bit unsteady after hip surgery. My food rating is 4.5 but genuine kindness bumps it to a full 5! We started in splitting the chicken sandwich. I loved the fresh, lightly toasted bread and the fact this small business father and son team source locally. The roll was dressed with shredded lettuce and a couple ripe tomato slices. Two meaty slices of bacon added to the enjoyment, but what really knocked me out and made this such a fine value, 2 huge, (about the size of your palm and fingers), slices of breast with another half thrown in for good measure. The chicken benefitted from marinating then grilling just right. Missing in action? Any and all ranch dressing-I even looked for to-go containers but none to be found. Comparing notes with DH he said his bread was dripping with sauce to the point of being soggy...I guessed when the sandwich was upright on the drive home everything wet rushed to one side! Stuff happens. The size of these sandwiches is huge but we moved on to the Cowboy for dinner. Cut in two, I took the smaller side, closer to 5". I've deconstructed down to the point of separating out onions, mushroom and tri tip. We opted for Provolone for more of a cheesesteak vibe. Generous slabs of mild cheese helped hold the whole thing together. DH grilled tri tip and ribs for the Stockton Ports game for several years and knew what to look for. The consensus, fair amount of meat, cooked medium well, tender with good flavor. I specified BBQ sauce on the side, which was no problem. That way I could deconstruct my half Cowboy, could be a nurse thing! DH thought too many onions while I thought the ratio to meat was spot on. Sadly the mushrooms turned out to be 3/4ths of one button mushroom thinly sliced for my share. Both grilled onions and mushrooms add additional moisture and flavor. Adding the sauce, a molasses tomato blend with a small peppery kick made for a very enjoyable meal. The onion rings were about 1/2" thick and plentiful. Crispy on the outside while still being moist on the inside with sweet onion. The coconut pie was creamy with toasted coconut sprinkled over the whipped topping. The crust was of interest, buttery cookie instead of graham cracker or standard pie crust. Our chocolate cream pie was a chocolate lover's dream. A light mousse touch to the filling with heavier ganache brownie crust. We're still working on that one. So 4 meals, 2 happy campers and even our dogs give 4 paws up.

Once a month, they have pastrami sandwiches! Everything was delicious, will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
