I had heard so many good things about this hamburger place, so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, the experience was beyond disappointing from start to finish. The food was terrible. My hamburger bun was so hard it felt like it had been sitting out for days. The burger itself lacked flavor, and the chili cheese fries arrived cold and unappetizing. For a place that's supposed to be known for great burgers, the quality was shockingly bad. What made the experience even worse was the service. Neither the waiter nor the manager ever came by to ask how the food was or why we barely touched our meals. It was obvious the food wasn't being eaten, yet no one seemed to care enough to check in. Overall, the combination of poor food quality and inattentive service made this one of the worst dining experiences I've had. It's also pretty disappointing when you have been waiting an hour and a half for our food, and people who came in WAY after us got their food before we did. The server failed to stop by to even tell us what was going on. And then she eventually told us that they are remaking our burgers??? The Grind is always one of my go to restaurants in Glenwood. The staff is fast and friendly. The Mayan black bean burger is delicious even without the mayo. It's packed full of flavors and had delicious peppers on it. They have good drinks and amazing food. There are two veggie burgers and a tempura cauliflower as well. I had a hankerin' for a burger, and Grind was in my line of sight. Good enough for me! There was ample outdoor seating on a lovely summer afternoon-with a sign that said to go inside to let them know you're there and then go back and find a table on the patio. It was a little awkward, but we figured it out. The burger, although done exactly as I requested (plain) was incredibly greasy. Like, midway though I started to feel a little queasy. It just may be a personal preference, but it was rather off-putting. However, the service was friendly and quick and the fries were alright, so we left with a mostly pleasant experience. read more

Ate here today and could not believe how HORRIBLE the food and service were! We thought it would be a nice day to eat lunch outside on the patio. Apparently their picnic tables nor patio ever get washed because of all the flies biting at our legs and in our faces. The other patrons around us resorted to using the laminated menus as fly swatters. Inside the restaurant was not any better, -- more flies and sticky tables. Hello, Health Department?? The protocol here is placing your order via scanning the QR code provided on a sticky clipboard at your table and paying in full with Tip before servers deliver your food. The servers acted terribly put upon that they even had to do that. If I could have taken back the Tip (To Insure Prompt Service), I would have. I ordered the Greek Lamb Salad. The lamb-patty they tossed on a wilted bed of field greens and old veg had zero flavor. In fact, I'm not sure it was lamb. Just Yuck! The service left a lot to be desired. as someone who works in the service industry i give a lot of grace because i know how hard it is. but this experience wasn't good top to bottom. Some of the food runners had an attitude with us while trying to figure out who had what order. and the burgers were extremely dry nearly inedible. we were a party of nine and everyone's side of fries were cold and no steps were taken to remedy the issues. We stopped in to Grind for lunch during a quick trip to visit Glenwood Springs and had a wonderful meal. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their burgers and my son loved the kids chicken nuggets. Stopped in for lunch to take advantage of their TVs and burgers. The staff was very friendly, especially the manager that was walking around helping and making sure everything was going smoothly. We were given the choice between a couple tables, which is always appreciated. They changed one of the TVs to the golf tournament we were looking to watch while still having plenty of TVs for everyone else. I ordered the Richies Lunch burger which wasn't bad but nothing special, which seems to be the common review for Grind. It was cooked how I asked but the flavors just weren't doing it for me. I loved the fried mushrooms though, which were both of our favorites. The onion rings weren't bad but they seemed over cooked. This place kind of has a hipster dive bar aesthetic. And that is in no way negative. We had the beer cheese, which was fantastic; a lamb burger and the number 2 hamburger. The french fries are worth the extra cost, they were fresh cut, and great. The burgers were OK. A solid burger I would eat here again. One weird thing is that they brought out the appetizer at the same time as the meal which made it hard to decide what to concentrate. Service, especially for the area, was fairly lackluster. Wheelchair accessibility: in general, the wheelchair accessibility was pretty good. There were signs blocking the entrance and exit that we had to move to get in and out. There were high chairs crowding the hallway, which made it a little bit difficult to get to the bathrooms. However the bathroom doors were nice and light with plenty of room and grab bars; paper towels were a little high. Somewhat limited accessible seating- would be hard to navigate with more than a couple wheelchair users in a group. read more

This place closes at 10pm on a Friday we arrived at 9pm they were not busy at all the host seemed to be annoyed that we came in then proceeded to get bad service. The food came out luke warm and we were rushed as our server just flopped the bill on the table before we even had a chance to finish. Staff was definitely more concerned with getting off right on time rather than providing good service. I've been here multiple times with family and have always had a great experience and enjoyed the food. A bit overpriced sure, but it's in a mountain town so it's to be expected. HOWEVER, the last time I went with some friends and asked if we could split the check evenly. Without ANY warning, we each received a $4.98 "split charge" for a total of $25 of fees just to divide the bill. Absolutely ridiculous. If you're going to charge a 20% fee to split a bill, at least be upfront about it. read more

Excellent place to grab a burger! The food was amazing, everything we tried was flavorful and fresh. I highly recommend the Zhengburger if you're into tuna - so scrumptious! The only drawback, and reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the staff is pretty inattentive. I actually enjoyed this establishment twice in 2 days and both times staff was pretty sparse. It's self seating inside, so checked on once to order and then once when they brought the food then they brought the check and that's it's. For a burger place that has creative options, the actual product is subpar. Small Pattie's, dry bread for buns, and we were never asked how we wanted the meat cooked. For asking high pricing, you still had to pay separately for any sides despite other restaurants of similar "caliber" including at least fries. We visited Grind on a Tuesday at 5:30 and it was only about 1/3 full. Despite this, the man at the front ignored us for a good 30 seconds before realizing we were 12 inches away. We then sat at the table for at least 15 minutes before I knew who our waiter was. The menu doesn't have prices, which is annoying and unusual outside of fine dining. They said it was because meats cost different... I ordered the falafel on a salad bowl. The portion was a bit disappointing but it did taste good. Overall the service left a lot to be desired. The food was good but you'll have to ask for prices on everything (which they will only estimate, because no one actually knew the prices), and spend well over an hour when they aren't very busy. read more
