Dr. Bastuba Review Surgery date 8/4/2022…read moreThis review is 7months past the surgery date. Diagnosis: Spermatic Cord Denervation Initial visit: Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I liked the music in the lobby. I was very impressed by the time that Dr. Bastuba took to go over my medical history and specifically the issue I was seeing him for. I never felt pressured to have the surgery. Dr. Bastuba was not rushed at all and explained in detail what would need to be done and the pros and cons. Dr. Bastuba had a good personality and was reassuring that the suggested procedure could provide the needed relief I was looking for. He also explained that it was outpatient and the recovery time. Remy was very helpful through the entire process and was PA Jennifer Levine. Surgery day: All went very smoothly. Surgical Staff was very complimentary of Dr. Bastuba. I saw him before the procedure and he was very assuring that all would go well. Recovery: The area of the incision was very uncomfortable for a good month or so. To be expected as the incision was in the lower groin. Follow up appointments with PA Levine were good. Results: After the initial soreness, I could feel the absence of the pain I had been having. I feel so much better, I wish I had had the surgery at least a year sooner. I am pain free and have so much more energy and vigor. Overall, this was a great experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Bastuba He gave me my life back.
