Instead of immediately trying to sell me something, he walked me through what troubleshooting steps I had already taken, he offered his free advice all while reminding me a couple times to make sure I have the power turned off before I attempted any more tests. He knew what he was talking about and obviously cared about my safety. Ray still went out of his way to answer all of my questions. He demonstrated all the features of the fireplace I was interested in. He would throw tantrums and get mad if nothing went his way, I understand stuff happens but your a grown man doing all of this for what? The installers complain about not getting paid enough, management is decent, work place culture is a 1/10 not the best place to learn anything honestly, the hardest part of the job isn't anything. I really wanted to learn and I felt so unvalued by others no matter how much I really did try to learn. The most enjoyable part of the job was going home. I stuck around longer then I needed to because the installer I was with (whom I was placed with more) I really wanted to learn regardless of what he said about me, talked about me, gave me faces, punched around materials, the owners says he pays for materials and everything but he doesn't. I have been to several garden shops in the area and this is the most expensive. Even their discounted items are still pricy. I ended up not buying anything and visiting a different garden shop. I was able to find most of what I needed here and more but they were not worth the price. I do like how organized the shop is. Having so many plants can't be easy to keep organized and healthy. I like how things are labelled and their large selection. Discount sections are nice and so is the free parking. The center was easy to locate and park. I was surprised to find an expansive garden shop in downtown Raleigh. Overall, we enjoyed walking through the shop, but found the prices too expensive.

We received a gift certificate as a wedding present and decided to book the "I Beg your Garden"…read moredate night class. We're mostly vegetarian so it was nice that they offered this class. We came in a Friday night and made some arancini, lasagna, salad, and Pizzelles. Chef Wynton is also the owner and super friendly. It was a fun way to spend a Friday night. My favorite part was making pasta from scratch and of course eating what you make! It would be fun to visit again. Chef Wynton also teaches cooking classes for children and I'd definitely consider sending my step children-they would love it.
