    Chicken bowl

Grill Point is so delicious! I am sad I have not come here sooner, but happy to have found my new go to lunch/dinner place. Don't sleep on Grill Point- they're my new FAVORITE middle eastern restaurant in Manhattan! You choose your protein (lots of options for vegetarians and meat lovers!) then choose if you want a sandwich (pita or laffa) or as a bowl. Bowls can have a base of salad, rice, cous cous etc., The green falafels smelled amazing so I chose the falafel bowl. My friend had the young chicken shawarma , she said she doesnt even like shawarma but loved theirs after trying it off of her husband's plate. While your protein cooks, you choose your salads, The vegetables are also SO fresh and very well seasoned. There is no limit on how many you choose and no extra charge- so try them all! My favorites: fried eggplant, cabbage, beets and the Israeli salad! Bowls come with a fresh warm bread- choose between homemade laffa bread or pita. The falafels are very good, with a perfect garlicy flavor. It was a huge portion and I will definitely be back for more. They have a cooler with drinks to choose from, water, soda, juice and tea. I appreciated that they had peach snapple both diet and regular. While there are only two counter tops for bar seating inside, they also have an outdoor cabin and additional tables out front for outdoor dining. I will be back to try the chicken and laffa! I will say I had enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow and the flavors taste just as delicious cold as they so warm and fresh! Every bite was better than the next, my actual question is where are they sourcing their produce? Seriously the freshest sweetest tomatoes and onions I've had in a loong time. Really kind customer service, the owner Albert came by to check to see how everything was! When he thought I hadn't been given bread, he rushed to grab me some so quickly I barely had time to tell him that I has wolfed it down warm! Will be a struggle not to come back tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday - can already tell this falafel bowl is about to become an addiction.

Grill Point on Lexington is very new. I went in to check it out one day when I saw someone sitting in the window. It turns out she was the receptionist and she immediately got up to greet me. I told her I wanted to photograph and check out the menu and she was receptive. This place has everything modern and sanitary. There's a unisex restroom and modern check out registers. You can sit at the windows on a stool or dine in the outdoor enclosed shed on the street. I found the menu moderately priced. There's plenty of variety and they are family conscious offering a kids menu. I thought the kids menu was pricey. The food is fresh and the cooks hard at work. They're not busy in the morning during the week. While I'm not familiar with many of the food items I intend to return to experiment. Until then I'll stick with the Avocado Smash and side salad.

Had a bowl with schnitzel and some really delicious sides - like hummus, grilled vegetables, israeli salad. I was pretty impressed. only thing i didn't live was the laffa, which seemed kind of bland. I'd go back if i was in the mood for shawarma. probably wouldn't get the schnitzel again.

Delicious! So much fun to eat at and the staff members are the sweetest! The chicken was crispy and the pita was warm and fully! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

I have never had such a delicious shawarma before... Grill Point on Lexington has an amazing Mediterranean Israely food. I truly felt like being teleported to "Shook Hatikvvah" The food here is amazing. Every Pita is loaded, generous portions, great ingredients, fresh, delicious. Couldn't have enough of it. Totally and whole heartedly recommend

So funny story... I was on my way to college and a random man on the street gave me a menu for this place. A new Middle Eastern and Kosher restaurant close to my college? Was intrigued and had to check it out. So glad that I did. Overall, I was impressed! The restaurant is set up like this. You order your food at the counter and hand them your ticket afterwards. (Though, I was not aware of this until after I waited a while for my order. Service could be improved). Then you can request as many toppings as you'd like in your meal. There's some seating inside, but there's nicely decorated outdoor seating as well. They also have a kids menu. Something for everyone! Feeling hungry for lunch, I ordered myself a Chicken Shawarma with laffa bread and requested hummus, tahini, diced tomatoes, and cucumbers to be added inside. The shawarma was so delicious!! Hands down, one of the best I've ever had in NYC. The meat was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and all of the ingredients went so well together. Everything was served warm and tasted freshly made. Now I'm craving some more laffa bread! The price was a bit high, though the huge portion made up for it. I also ordered an Israeli salad on the side, which complemented the food well. Awesome addition to the Upper East Side and I can't wait to come back and try more items on their menu. Thank you to the random man who gave me this menu :D

High prices but excellent and huge portions. Great for takeout, not ideal for eating there. One laffa is 2 days worth of food for me.

Mia and Fusy (maybe Suzy) should be acknowledge for their hospitality, professionalism, efficiency while still very warm. The steak and eggs pita was amazing as always- this and the baby roasted cauliflower are my MUST ORDERS- you will be sad you do not- but everything at Miznon is sooo good!! I got the mushroom pita and the whole roasted baby cauliflower, and both were insane. Mushroom Pita: Fresh, fluffy pita bread, with roasted mushrooms in an umami-rich tahini sauce. This was mouthwateringly good, and the mushrooms also had a great, fresh texture. Baby Cauliflower: It sounds so simple but the magic is in the execution. The cauliflower is both soft and firm at the same time; it almost melts in your mouth. There's a reason that two times we went to Miznon, they had already run out. Friendly service, and a chill ambiance. They have fresh tomatoes and long green peppers as a living decor, and they will give you a cooked pepper if you like. Take them up on their offer - the pepper is delicious (and spicy if you eat the seeds).

One would think how hard it is to make chicken soup, put chicken in the water, add salt, bring to a boil, cook for an hour. Done. Apparently whomever cooked chicken soup that I was served did not read that memo. The soup I was served was absolutely the worst soup I have ever had in my life. It lacked the bold Parmesan and peppercorn flavor that usually defines it. The fries stood out in a good way. They had great crunch and texture and were easily the most consistent item on the table. The ribeye was decent but not at the level you expect for a $90 cut. The temperature came out at a proper medium and there was a noticeable char, which added some flavor. However, it tasted like it had been reheated rather than cooked fresh. The bone was not hot and the fat was not fully rendered or caramelized, which took away from the overall experience. It was not bad, but it missed the mark for the price point. Service was good, which helped the experience. But, with so many solid steakhouse options in NYC, this is not a place I would go out of my way to return to.

Passed hors d'oeuvres included beef carpaccio, ahi tuna tostadas, short rib gnocchi, and patatas bravas. For dinner, we were given a choice of three appetizers: roasted caufliower, lamb riblets, or brussel sprouts with lamb bacon; a choice of four entrees: duck confit risotto, ora king salmon with coconut curry, tournedos au poivre, or cote do boeuf. The three dessert options were apple streudel, affogato "al caffe", and key lime pie. I ordered brussel sprouts, duck, and key lime pie, and Eric R. got lamb riblets, ora king salmon, and apple streudel. I think he regretted offering me a lamb riblet because it was ridiculously tender and melted in my mouth. What is truly amazing is this is a meat restaurant, so the ice cream, risotto, gnocchi, and other dishes that we think of as dairy-based were non-dairy, and still completely amazing! It was definitely the fanciest kosher restaurant I have even been to in my life. The restaurant was so packed that we could not hear most of the speeches, which were given into a microphone attached to a small speaker near the bride's and groom's family's table. I do not fault the restaurant for its popularity though! The menu is really fun so I think it would be cool to return here for a special occasion. It is also located in midtown Manhattan which is very convenient for transportation. B'teavon!
