Just had a holiday gathering with family and friends, and while we had quite a spread, the star of the show was definitely the prime tri tip delivered by Bill Delgado and Grill Fellas. I'm happy to report that the tri tip was just as good, maybe even better, than the last time! It was extremely tender, juicy and tasty with the right amount of spice, and all our guests raved about it - even my picky 5 year old grandson loved it, and ate tri tip sandwiches all week! We had used Grill Fellas several years ago and remembered how good the tri tip was, so I called, and Bill was willing to cook several tri tips for us, plus deliver, slice and set them up in a chafing tray we had so the proper temperatures could be maintained and the meat wouldn't dry out. Bill is very reliable (important when expecting a lot of guests!) and also very helpful which ensured the food service went smoothly. So many people asked about the tri tip, but since Bill doesn't sell individual tri tips, I would like to suggest he take orders and maybe cook all the orders once a month and sell them on one day - just a thought! They were at a brewery today, along with another BBQ'r. Offered tri-tip, pulled pork sliders and brisket. I got the sliders and brisket. Both moist and flavorful. The slaw had peanuts in it, which was unusual, but offered a little crunch. Also tried the spicy sauce, a little thin, but had good flavor. So, why only a 3? Would have liked to see more to their menu - perhaps it was the event? The brisket was pulled, wondering why they didn't proudly give me slices. read more

We had attended a party years ago that they catered and I still remembered how delicious the food was when we decided to hire them this past weekend for our daughter's graduation party. Bill was a delight to work with; very responsive, very respectful and very quick to answer all of my questions even after all of my initial questions. Bill and his crew showed up on time and set up with no assistance needed from us. The grilled meats and the sides were beyond delicious. Their set up was very professional and festive. Hired Grillfellas for a company event in San Dimas. Lunch was scheduled for noon. These guys are total pros, they showed up early, set up their grill, sides and beverages. Wow!! Just Wow! I know I have heard for many many years pulled pork is supposed to be juicy, flavorful and absolutely delicious. I have NEVER found this to be true. It is usually NOT very moist and chewy at any BBQ establishment I have ever tried it at, despite their claims to the contrary. So on this day, I went to a one day racquetball tournament, which I found out was going to be catered by one of the players who entered the tournament. Thus having seen some of the spreads at previous tournaments in general (none had been catered by these guys), I wasn't really sure what to expect...but I wasn't expecting much, to be honest. The menu was simple and perfect. Pulled pork, tri tip, baked beans w sausage and a field greens salad with a balsamic vinegrette. Of course, if more courses are desired, I'm sure they will be happy to fire it up The pulled pork was amazing, moist, juicy, tender with a great crust topped with a homemade BBQ sauce that complimented it perfectly. I finally found out why people often rave about pulled pork...but now if I ever order it again, I have a true standard to judge it by, this will be hard to beat......these guys need to be on the BBQ grillin challenge on the Food Network, it was that amazing. Yumm!!! So I'm at Timeless Pints and this brisket slider is super tender and flavorful. The bun was super filling and i think it was a pretzel bun. I'm usually not a slaw person because most slaw has too much mayo. Their's was an Asian slaw and it was light and fresh. I especially loved the fact that they did not sauce the meat for me. I was able to sauce it to my liking and tried it without the sauce. I hate when places over sauce their meat. It's like they're trying to hide something. Too bad they don't have a store front. Was at Belchin' Beaver today for some beer tasting and purposely waited to eat lunch to see what food truck they had today. This place is outrageously amazing. Ordered the brisket slider ($7) and the cowboy nachos ($10) (not I. My fiancé. Those are intense!) The brisket literally falls apart. It is so tender. So flavorful. The sweet bbq sauce is my jam. These guys were the food truck for Belching Beaver last Thursday night for Trivia night. Really cool guy on staff. I didn't see anything being actively grilled or smoked, so it might have been made earlier in the day. Pulled pork sliders were definitely in the 3-star area. Peanut coleslaw was underwhelming with a more bland, shredded white cabbage taking 90% of the item and then some whole roasted peanuts on top - not integrated at all. Sort of a lazy concoction to call peanut coleslaw in my opinion. Nachos were loved by our group. Everything was a tad pricey, so I was hoping the flavors would match up. Sort of puzzling. read more
