This outdoor location boasts it all with a restored and unique 1957 Valentine diner of old Americana, an old 1950s style Airstream for a bar (really cool), Dots and Dashes Bar, pretty comfy picnic style seating, swamp coolers to keep you comfortable, wide-open space, an enormous tent to keep you protected from the Arizona sun and a stage for kids to perform and the occasional locals to serenade from. The diner sits at the heart of a classic American trailer court, with a few classic cars, some retro RVs, and even an historic boat. Dining outdoors beneath umbrellas or under a swamp cooler air-conditioned tent, where the retro music and ambient setting creates a dynamic 1950s mood. Their breakfasts are great - and unique. Especially their Pork Belly Breakfast Sammi is fantastic, consisting of a perfectly prepared pork belly, arugula, a sriracha aioli and egg on a brioche bun, as is their Screwdriver - you can actually taste Vodka! My wife had the fab perfectly smoked brisket tacos prepared with an incredible salsa verde, fried egg, queso fresco and black beans. Oh, btw, their home fries are to die for! Dot's Diner at the Shady Dell is a must visit breakfast/brunch joint when visiting Bisbee! We stopped in the morning we left town and were sorry we hadn't tried them sooner. Bon appétit!

I went to wash my hands and left my daughter's stuffed panda, Pandi, on the table for about 5 minutes. When I came back, he was gone. Seriously? Who walks into a restaurant, sees a stuffed animal on a table and thinks, "I could use one of those"? Other customers in the area said it was an older man with a beard. A grown man seriously took a kid's stuffed animal! I hope that man is happily playing with my daughter's toy. Now I have to go tell her she's never going to see Pandi again. Faith lost in humanity. They stopped making their own sourdough bread. I'm not sure how long ago, but he said a few years..... I personally can't recommend Dylan's anymore, except for maybe pizza because the other things they sell are sold in small portions with lots of bread to make up the difference. My only complaint they don't give you much food anymore and it's not very cheap at all. On the plus side, they have a complete bar there if you want alcohol and they have a good selection so that's a plus You're on this side of town and it's late afternoon when no one else is open then Dylans a good choice mixed reviews.... The toast was rye toast and it was fresh and tasty. Overall this was a solid meal, and I would probably get it again. This is a very small shop behind the shoppette/gas station and it's been a few things over the years. Service was fast and friendly and the price --$11.75-- was about right for today's economy. There was plenty of chicken and crispy lettuce to fill me up. The shop only has two tables so I ate my wrap in the dining area, where the soda fountain is.

Another local recommended this place as it's dog-friendly. So we walked on in, were greeted right away, and sat upstairs on the patio. The patio provided perfect view of Allen street below. The bar area and first floor dining area were busy and we were relieved that the patio was quieter and less chaotic. Jennifer was our server and she took good care of us. She got our dogs a bowl of water as soon as we sat at a corner table. We were hungry. My friend had Nacho fries and I had a chicken taco salad. My salad was the only disappointing thing about our visit today. The chicken was minimal and there were no beans at all. The menu does not mention beans, so this was my oversight. But who makes a taco salad without beans? The taco salad was missing more than just beans, though. The menu stated it also had cheddar cheese and sour cream. Both were missing. No wonder the salad was flavorless and underwhelming. I ate the entire thing, though, because I was very hungry and needed to eat something before drinking any beer later. I enjoyed the ambiance. Sitting outside with a view from above toward Allen Street is nice. I will make sure I will not order the taco salad next time. Yes the staff looked over at us multiple times. They KNEW there were people waiting to even be acknowledged. There were multiple parties being ignored by the time we left and went to either Longhorn, or Big Nose Kate's, which greeted us immediately, and seated us quickly. When we left, at least one other party did as well asking where we were headed if we weren't waiting.
