Nice outdoor dining with Ozzy Osborne and AC/DC on the speakers! Airplanes zoom over and nearby. Great plain haddock and other foods so why is the whipped cream is toxic Shit in a plastic bowl in freezer section? Leave it off! Ice cream is chewy so skip That. Ew!

I had an opportunity to dine here after a round of golf. Very pleasantly surprised at the extensive menu and the high quality of food. A lot of options for healthy eating. Fast and very friendly service. I'll be back again even if not golfing.

It was 61 degrees and the heat lamps did the job and kept us comfortable. Reggae music played on the high quality sound system. Our server was delightful, no complaints there. The Americanization of Asian dishes is quite evident here. None of our food was enjoyable and it all came out cold...very cold. Our Korean ribs were "fall off the bone" but the flavor was peculiar. Something was missing...The Haddock Bao Buns, served ice cold, was drowned in creamy sauce. The bed of seaweed salad was OK but did not enhance the haddock. The real loser of evening was the salmon curry, it's as if the recipe came from Stouffers...it was so bland and unbalanced. We were surprised to get charged an additional fee for using a credit card. This is a money grab and real turnoff. Credit cards are a cost of doing business This place is a hit, the locals keep it packed and that's great. I'll pass

My friend was up from MA for the night & the next morning we wanted to go out to breakfast. The…read moreplace that we were going to go to was closing & this was the only other breakfast place I could think of since it was almost 1pm. It has been years since I've been in here or eaten in here. This use to be one of the "spots" to go late night back in my 20's for some grub. Boy how it has changed over the years. It wasn't very busy when we arrived, one family with a nosy kid (lol) & two other tables with customers @ them. We waited a few minutes before Connie came over to us to give us menus and take our drink order. I got a soda water & man it tasted sooooooo good! They serve Pepsi products which my friend nor I are fans of (I don't drink soda anymore) so my friend just went with a water. I started us off with the cheese curds & I've never seen cheese curds like these before. Small, fried squared pieces of cheese which looked like French toast bits....lol They were OK & came with a nice, sweet & not so spicy dipping sauce. I went with an omelet with Swiss cheese, mushrooms & red onions. It looked pretty sad & small. The onions were long pieces which I would have preferred them to be diced up. They don't mix all the ingredients in the eggs & just fold the egg over the ingredients inside. I prefer the ingredients mixed into the egg mixture. The hash browns were good but another small portion. Their prices are way over priced for the food quality that they serve. This isn't a fancy restaurant, I know it's a truck stop but I feel like it was a better quality many years ago. I thought the raspberry donut cheesecake looked good from the picture of it on their menu & Connie told me it was good, so good that sometimes "she has it for breakfast." LOL I wasn't impressed & it tasted kinda dried out, maybe it was old/older? I don't think that this is a place I would ever venture back to eat at unfortunately. The only thing that was good was our waitress Connie!

Instead, CP will be reviewed among the other chains who's primary audience is made up of captive truckers. That said, this is the best Country Pride I have been to in the entire country. The salad bar was clean, stocked, fresh, and all the salad and soup bowls were clean and neatly stacked. The lettuce was not wilted, discolored, or wet. The cherry tomatoes were not wrinkled, soft, or soaking in a puddle of juice. The soups were hot and fresh and there was no sloppy mess of spilled soup from people who must think a ladle is a freehanded catapult. The staff (Colleen) was friendly and although she forgot my Tobasco, it wasn't needed because I didn't need to fake flavor. This place makes me not hate Maine winter deliveries and will have me back....Ok, that's a lie....I will still hate Maine winter deliveries

We (parents and a toddler) arrived hungry after driving two hours and had a hard time getting his attention at times. We arrived before 6pm on a Friday but still there was a wait. Once we were seated, the server was pretty prompt and really friendly, though generally service was somewhat slow with a wait for food. We were waiting almost an hour for entrees and about to change our order to to-go because of stress with our exhausted toddler, but of course that's when the food arrived. We had to shovel it in and leave. The food was the most disappointing part. The chips are clearly not homemade. The salsa didn't have much flavor, and the guacamole was a huge letdown. It had a dull green color and very "slop" style texture (think sour cream texture, not chunky like real guac) that all pointed to store bought / not fresh. I had the chicken enchiladas, and the sides of rice (so salty) and beans (very soupy) brought down an already undesirable dish. The enchiladas were cooked nicely but far too cheesy. The green sauce was nearly tasteless, the red sauce is what made it all edible. Wouldn't ever really come back here. I wish I could say something more positive!

This place has gone seriously downhill…read more What used to feel fresh and made-to-order now feels lazy and low-quality. The guacamole was shockingly bad squishy, overly processed, and nothing like the fresh guac they used to make in front of you. The chips tasted like they came straight out of a grocery store bag, which is pretty unacceptable considering how good they used to be. My partner's pork belly taco was almost inedible. It was tough, dry, and bizarrely similar to overcooked chicken with a gristly texture...definitely not pork belly. We ended up leaving most of it behind. We came back specifically for the mushroom taco we'd loved before, and it was a huge disappointment. Instead of something thoughtful or flavorful, it was just a massive pile of chopped fake meat with no seasoning and no balance. The vegan avocado taco was just as bad basically a bland grilled slice of avocado with zero effort put into it. Honestly, it feels like the kitchen has completely given up. The only saving grace was the bar, the bartenders were great and the margaritas were genuinely excellent. That's the only reason this isn't a 1-star review.
