I was tired of hiring a pressure washing company to come out every year to clean my rental property. I wish I knew about this company years ago!

5 Stars is not enough…read more We recently had Northern Star Contractors custom fabricate and install our stair railings, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. On top of this he provided me with some "nerd" knowledge of how parts of the house should function as well as historical facts of how the house was wired. I absolutely enjoyed his tour through the potential purchase looking forward to each corner we came across. Each time something new was seen he would provide his expert knowledge of what it should be or he would get excited that the condition was so great. It was an absolute pleasure! Anyone looking to buy a home and receive a detailed level of inspection, as well as an awesome experience of learning about a home, I would 100% recommend Bateman Home Inspections! If this house doesn't go through, which I would be very sad if it did, we will definitely be using their services for the next!

I'm taking off a star for that because while I appreciate the service and the knowledge that comes with that, I wasn't impressed with the actual roofer or his input. My bank assured me my account was in order. I then reviewed the phone number I was given and it was not correct. After repeated text messages every hour of during daylight hours from William, even when sending screenshots of over a dozen attempts to pay, it was then demanded that I meet with cash. That was not possible due to my work schedule that is very busy and has strict time constraints, demands relating to family obligations including medical care, back to school meetings and events, and college preparation including legal document meetings and signings, not to mention dorm move-in shopping and logistics. I was then threatened that the trash removed would be dumped in my driveway by the end of the week, which is obviously private property. This is not only unprofessional, it is a business that is not functional and places their failure to maintain payment systems on the customer. If I could give a negative rating I would. I will not post all screenshots since the phone number and email addresses are shown, but there is full documentation of all these attempts and texts.

We called Bob Garrett Services who dispatched a plumber immediately, this of course after several failed attempts with local companies in the Staunton, VA area. I can not say enough about the dedication to his trade and the professionalism of our Plumber, Lawrence Hancock. Lawrence drove from nearly 2 hours away to meet our needs. He also had to source a hot water heater locally due to compatibility issues with the hot water heater he brought with him - and drove an hour each way to secure it for us. he stayed late into the evening completing this install and took the old one with him when he left. This service was exemplary and we will absolutely use them again if they're willing to again make the trip for us. Thank you!

We had been having issues with being able to fill up our jetted tub without running out of hot…read morewater and also taking more than 2 showers back-to-back. I was also having to drain the tank about once a year and replace the bottom element as our house did not have a softener when we moved in, so it had a lot of calcium carbonate in the bottom. I called Bob Garret Services for an estimate about a new hot water heater with a mixing valve. Never knew that a mixing valve can increase your hot water volume by over 50%. Lawrence Hancock came over, checked everything out, and gave me a quote. He was very detailed in explaining things and low-pressure (no pun intended), and obviously very intelligent. Even though the cost was a bit surprising, I decided to go for it as this was the best water heater on the market. Lawrence came over the next day with new water heater, mixing valve, and thermal expansion tank (needed for to prevent pressure buildup in closed plumbing system and protect the well pump). He got everything installed, not to mention re-plumbing a few questionable joints on my water softener, anchoring some existing copper pipes to the block wall, both at no extra charge. Here's the kicker...not only can my wife use her jacuzzi now, but we have increased water pressure AND our 2-year-old water softener is working MUCH better. I'm extremely satisfied with Bob Garrett Service, not to mention with Lawrence especially. Great job guys. One less thing to worry about now.
