Hands-down, this place…read morecontained some of the most miserable people I've ever seen work at a job with the exception of a couple ladies I don't think I've ever seen one of them even crack a smile. And for some reason, they revel in the idea of putting the supremely indignant ones at the counter. Please understand, I don't expect anyone to be bubbly all the time, but I do believe that everyone is afforded basic human decency and saying "hello" to someone at the least deserves a "hello" in return. I am not sure who kicked your dog this morning, but I promise you it was not me. Don't get bitter... get better.

Don't you love it when you go to a new place for the first time, and they do a perfect job, but…read morewhen you keep going there, the worst the service you receive gets? On 1/10/2025, I went to this establishment for the first time to donate Plasma. Me and my husband have been in a bit of a financial crunch for quite awhile now, so I thought I could make some quick cash donating plasma to help him out while he works full time. I should mention that I have Trypanophobia. If you're not sure what that is, it means I have a fear of needles. For that very reason I tend to stay away from the Doctor's Office unless I absolutely have to go. Before I continue, allow me to explain how this system of Donation works. On the first visit, you have to fill out paper work, give identification, get identified in their systems, and get a physical. A process for the first time only that make take an hour or two depending on how busy they are. In my case, the person who did mine was very easy to communicate with. He was very patient with me, understanding of my needs, and able to explain things in a way that was easy for me to understand. Not to mention this person was very smooth with handling the physical. During the initial screening process, I got a glimpse at how payouts work. 1st and 2nd time donating, you get $100 for each visit. And donations after that gets you $55 for each donation. If you refer a friend, you get an extra $100 for each friend who shows up to donate. All earnings are transferred to a card. If you want the money off the card, you need to take it to an ATM, preferably one without a surcharge. After the screening process, the had me do a questionnaire on a kiosk to make sure I was healthy enough to donate. Once that was done, they called me up to do a finger stick to test my blood. Shockingly, I didn't even feel a thing. Which is great for me! It wasn't long till they took me back to the donation room. The donation chairs were super comfortable to the point I wanted to sleep in them. The staff were clear on the rules and what they were doing. They put the needle in me and again, they were so smooth, I didn't even feel it going in. The staff was very attentive to me and help me feel comfortable. The donation process was quick and painless. Afterwards, the pulled out the needle, patched me up and sent me on my way. Easiest $100s ever. However given there was a snow storm that day, the last KATS bus was cancelled so I got stranded there. They gave me shelter and even let me charge my phone cause it died and I was without a charger. This gave me a chance to summon an UBER. And THAT is where the praise ends. 1/23/2025 I went back to donate again. But this time, the experience was completely different. I filled out the questions on the kiosk, and then went in for the finger stick. This time I did feel it. They took me back to stick in the needle. The staff member WAS NOT gentle. AT ALL. In fact the entry actually hurt! No rubber band on the arm to draw out the vein, just straight in. I could feel that painful needle in me the whole time. At one point when the cuff released, I waited for like 20 minutes for it to resume to the point I said to the staff "I think this machine is broken cause it won't resume the extraction." They just told me it's giving me back blood. Finally it resumes but can't cause it didn't have the line in right. They extracted the needle and tried to fix it IN MY ARM, leading to immense pain! My back arched and I nearly was in TEARS! Finally they take out the needle and try the other arm. Which the entry hurt just as much! Finally I made my donation, they pull out the needles which one again hurt a lot. When I told my husband about this, he was FURIOUS. It's now 1/17/2025. As you can see by the pictures, my skin is STILL bruised, which most likely means I can't donate again till it's no longer bruised. Their fault entirely by the way. Some staff here seems aloof like they don't care, others are attentive and amazing... However given my fear of needles, I'm boarder line too afraid to go back to donate.

A woman that was constantly complaining about how much she hated her job there was the person that prepped me for donation with the needle and it was apparently placed incorrectly because it was incredibly painful and uncomfortable during my entire donation process. My arm bruised very badly and it felt sore for over a week. For some reason I was still able to keep donating a couple more times until my bruising faded, then a few staff members acted like it was a problem because a light brown discoloration appeared on my arm at my injection site. I thought it was my fault for a while because I left a band aid on for too long but come to find out, I ended up getting Hemosiderin Staining as a result. It isn't that bad but now I feel like a laser treatment or just covering it up with another tattoo are some options to erase this minor flaw caused by negligence. I should've just walked out instead of let an unhappy employee touch me. Aside from all this, there were more good employees than bad, there and because of that, I didn't leave a 1 star rating.
