Getting in and out is pretty decent and I advise people to go on Monday and Saturdays as these are the slowest days of the week. Payment will be based on your weight and other varying factors but good gas money to say the least. If they call you Lifesaver because donating plasma definitely does save lives, at least as far as the public knows. Go donate and save a life

A woman that was constantly complaining about how much she hated her job there was the person that prepped me for donation with the needle and it was apparently placed incorrectly because it was incredibly painful and uncomfortable during my entire donation process. My arm bruised very badly and it felt sore for over a week. For some reason I was still able to keep donating a couple more times until my bruising faded, then a few staff members acted like it was a problem because a light brown discoloration appeared on my arm at my injection site. I thought it was my fault for a while because I left a band aid on for too long but come to find out, I ended up getting Hemosiderin Staining as a result. It isn't that bad but now I feel like a laser treatment or just covering it up with another tattoo are some options to erase this minor flaw caused by negligence. I should've just walked out instead of let an unhappy employee touch me. Aside from all this, there were more good employees than bad, there and because of that, I didn't leave a 1 star rating.

You need to plan on spending a minimum of 2 hours to give your plasma!! These are THE slowest…read morepeople on earth!! They all have no sense of urgency to get people through the line and out the door. You may be done with pumping and you have to wait another 20 minutes before someone will unhook you from the machine!! It's absolutely absurd!! Once you are done they should come immediately and unhook you and not unhook others that were done after you. It's not that hard to figure out people!! Then there's the pay. I have overheard CSL gets about $5k for each person's plasma and they only pay you $50!!! Less depending on your weight of course! How cheap can you possibly be?!?! Just because you are in Tennessee doesn't mean inflation hasn't hit here!! The grocery store bill has doubled. These TN companies need to get with the times! Needless to say, is it really worth the amount of time out of your day to give plasma at that cheap rate?!?!
