I was hoping to have a service performed right away, but we were told that we needed an appointment. That was fine, since we live in the area anyways. I made an appointment to get a Neurotoxin treatment for the next day, which was Friday, 04/19/2024 at 10:00 am. Luckily, they were able to get me on the schedule that fast. When I returned for my appointment, I was instructed to fill out forms. After I finished, we were guided to the back by Alexa Campbell. She evaluated my face and went over my options. I ended up going with the Xeomin (Neurotoxin) Initial Treatment and she recommended 22 units total for the zones I wanted to target. Each unit was $10.00. Since I was a new customer, I was given 20% off for my treatment, so it only ended up being $176.00. That was awesome. The treatment didn't cause me too much pain and definitely didn't take very long. My head felt heavy for a little bit, but it quickly subsided. It was recommended to have the Xeomin (Neurotoxin) Follow Up Treatment two weeks later. I scheduled mine for Wednesday, 05/01/2024 at 10:00 am. The customer service was pleasing and professional during my time there. I recommend Alexa for a Xeomin treatment for sure! Overall, this place didn't disappoint. The price for my treatment was friendly in my opinion. I would love to explore this place more! Date of service: 19-Apr-2024

My experience with Ignite Medical Resort Dyer was extremely disappointing and concerning. Based on…read morewhat I observed during my loved one's stay, I believe the facility falls far short of the standard of care and professionalism that its name suggests. On the very first day of admission, there was a cloth chair in my loved one's room that appeared to have dried human waste on the armrest. I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff. After investigating, I was assured that the chair would be removed right away. However, three days later, the chair remained in the room. Throughout the stay, the level of care, responsiveness, and bedside manner displayed by many of the nursing and CNA staff was unacceptable. The facility appeared to be understaffed, and there was a noticeable lack of urgency when patients required assistance. On numerous occasions, we used the call button to request help for my loved one. Not once did a nurse or CNA respond to the call button in a timely manner. Each time, a family member had to physically walk to the nurses' station to request assistance before anyone responded. My loved one shared a room with another patient, and I frequently overheard that patient calling out for help. She could often be heard moaning, groaning, and asking for assistance for extended periods. When staff eventually entered the room, I was shocked to hear them scold the patient, telling her that she was "always calling" and that she "didn't want anything." Witnessing this interaction was deeply troubling and demonstrated a lack of compassion and respect for a vulnerable resident. Another concern was the apparent lack of engagement with residents. Many elderly patients spent entire days sitting near the nurses' station with little to no interaction from staff. They appeared isolated, disengaged, and unhappy. The most disturbing issue occurred when I noticed what initially appeared to be clumps of dirt or lint along the wall behind my loved one's bed. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the area was covered with hundreds, if not thousands, of ants crawling along the wall and throughout the room. I immediately reported the issue to staff. One CNA responded by saying, "Well, I just got here." A nurse then acknowledged that she had already informed the day aide about the ant problem. This indicated that staff were already aware of the infestation, yet no action had been taken to resolve it or relocate the patient. When I expressed my concern and disgust regarding the situation, the nurse rolled her eyes and told me that I should contact maintenance about the ants. I found this response unprofessional and inappropriate, especially given that the issue involved patient health, safety, and sanitation. My final negative interaction occurred during the discharge process. The nurse manager reviewed my loved one's discharge instructions and medications. When I asked questions regarding follow-up medications, I was met with visible irritation and an unwelcoming attitude, as though asking questions about my loved one's care was an inconvenience. I strongly believe the facility should reevaluate its hiring practices, staff training, accountability measures, cleanliness standards, and responsiveness to patient concerns. Patients and families deserve compassionate care, professional communication, and a clean, safe environment. The one positive aspect of our experience was the therapy department. I did observe meaningful improvement in my loved one's therapy progress, and the therapy staff appeared dedicated to their work. They were the bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience. I was relieved when my loved one was discharged from Ignite Medical Resort Dyer. Based on my experience, I would not choose this facility again. I encourage families with loved ones in nursing homes or rehabilitation facilities to visit frequently and remain actively involved in their care. Photos and videos documenting the ant infestation are below.

DO NOT SEND UOUR LIVED ONES HERE…read more Pretty sure they are a big reason my dad passed away way sooner than he should have. They are not set up to take care of sick patients. The person in charge of nutrition didn't even know what meds my dad was on. He went downhill so fast there that we said we were calling 911. They ended up doing bloodwork and sending him after we said that. Got to the hospital and it turns out none of the bloodwork they sent was his. I'm pretty sure they fudged it just to get him out of there so they weren't liable.

Do NOT go here! My complaints with this facility are as follows:…read more 1) It is virtually impossible to get someone on the phone. I spent literal HOURS trying to get through. I would go through phone prompt hell to be told, for example, that I was 3rd in line waiting only to either a) have the phone ring over 100 times and then hang up on me or b) I would just be stuck on hold for half an hour. 2) Their changing rooms are just cubicles with curtains on them. I was already feeling distinctly uncomfortable as they were walking around with a workman, discussing what they wanted done. So I quickly took my top off and put on the gown and sat down to take my shoes off, only to then have one of the employees PEEK IN THE CURTAIN AT ME. She asked me, without any trace of embarrassment at getting caught, if I required any assistance. Um, NO, I don't. She then peeked in AGAIN when walking by after my MRI and I was changing back into my clothes. If you do cannot tell if anyone is in the changing room simply by the fact that the curtain is CLOSED, then try knocking or clearing your throat. There is ZERO reason that you should be peeping in on people while they are changing their clothes! 3) The person who did my MRI was nice, but there was zero communication either before or during my MRI as to how long the process would be. My appointment was at 3 and I got there early to fill out paperwork, and I didn't get out of there until after 4:20. I will never go to this place ever again.

"Disappointing Experience - Would Not Recommend"…read more I really wanted to believe this place cared about both donors and employees, but my experience said otherwise. The staff seemed rushed and overworked, and it showed in how poorly customers were treated. From the moment I walked in, the process felt chaotic and unorganized -- long waits, little communication, and no sense of compassion for the people actually donating. The facility itself didn't feel very clean, and at times I honestly felt more like a number than a human being. Donating plasma is not easy on your body, but the staff acted like donors were disposable, just another body to cycle through. On top of that, I couldn't help but notice how stressed and unhappy the employees looked. When workers are clearly burnt out and unsupported, it trickles down into how customers get treated too. It left me wondering how much this company really values anyone in the building, whether staff or donors. I understand plasma donation is important, but there are other centers in Chicago that treat people with more respect and run a tighter ship. My advice: try somewhere else if you want a smoother, more humane experience.
