Over the last year, the wait times have gotten worse each visit. What use to be a quick 1-1.50 hour donation time is now 2-2.50 wait. I get there is a budget for payroll but when you watch donors simply walk out cuz of the wait time. Grifols, you are loosing out! Also, WE are your customers! What happened to exceptional customer service? We hold up our end of the deal when making an appt and arriving on time, why can't you do your part too? The waiting room is always 10-15 heads deep and with only 1 screener to handle us and the calls, poor management! Lastly, would be great to see the leadership staff come down from upstairs and support their employees when needed. You can only do so much paperwork, conference calls etc.... My donations at Grifols have been pretty enjoyable-- until recently. I was differed for 8 weeks due to a malfunction in their machine that put my blood into the plasma bottle. This happened TWICE and as punishment, I was sent away with little compensation for 8 weeks. Besides this unfair incident, I have really enjoyed the staff and procedure there. read more

WASTE OF TIME --- TIME, THE MOST PRECIOUS THING NEXT TO LIFE. Scheduled an appointment to get paid for plasma, they are 1.5 hours behind and DONT TELL YOU until you are STUCK. How does 1/2 minimum wage sound for them taking your body fluids. You'd get better pay for the time at McD's or just about everywhere else. I have donated off and on for a few years and recently treated horribly during an appointment to get back up to donate. A lady named Sam basically called me liar and said I had to leave and wasn't welcome back at any griffols again. Evidently because I was confused about what side one of my tattoos is on I'm a liar. It was very disturbing and dis heartening. read more

I love coming in here everyone is really cool and friendly. But some of the staff could use more training on how to stick in a needle. The last time I came in they had hard time finding a vein and they weren't sure about. I just bled out for a sec and both arms they couldn't find a vein. I just want everyone to know what they are doing before dealing with a donor. Other than that it is a great place!. read more

So I have donated at Grifols for a year now. I have enjoyed my many times donating however during that time I have witnessed others being turned away because their appointments have been canceled "accidentally" by a staff. Along with leaving frustrated they have left with a very small token of compensation for their time. Well, today it was my turn. I had scheduled my annual physical this morning at 8:30 (knowing that it was going to be much longer than the normal quick in and out process) I showed up a little early. You have screening questions, kiosk questions (more than usual), urine analysis, hands on physical, etc. Once I had been cleared to go back to the back room I was told that a staff had done just as I had seen before with other donors. He informed me that he had accidentally canceled my donation and that I was not going to be able to donate. He kept reiterating how it was his bad and I was told that I would receive a +$10 on my next donation. A plus $10? I was going to get more than that today if he hadn't screwed up. Why should I be the one to suffer for his mistake? He informed me that I could come back again tomorrow but that I would need to repeat ALL the same process as today. By this time I had been there for an hour and a half. What he didn't realize (until I told him) was that my days were Saturdays and Mondays - except mondays I am very limited on time as I drive out of town and remain gone ALL WEEK. If I came back on Sunday to redo my appointment that DID happen today then I would not be able to donate on Monday either. Also, If I just wait until Monday to redo the appointment I would be late to work more so than I already am with just a regular donation day. I let him know that because I could not donate today it prevents me from being able to donate Monday as well. I was set to make $40 today and $45 on Monday. I am out $85 because of this mistake AND IT WASN"T MY FAULT and they want to compensate me $10 "for my time"? I think not. I understand when it's your fault you deal with it, but there are no guarantees that this won't ever happen again (to me or anyone else) so for this reason I figure my time is best spent where I KNOW I can make money. I will not be returning to this establishment again until they can better address this issue. read more

Absolutely horrific!!! So I'm not a new donor ive donated up on slc. At my donation the machine wasnt taking my blood, ok not a big deal, stuff happens. How they handled it was bad. They eventually ended up grabbing the needle and jabbing it in my arm every which direction. Even when my vein doesn't go that way. When i expressed my pain, the comment they gave was, " Well you signed up for this..." i didn't sign up to be treated rudely. Darion is the mvp though. So if you go ask for him. Dont have any blonde females do it read more
