(I'm a writer and that seemed suspicious to me). I took a chance and called. I explained to the friendly, helpful woman who answered the phone that I am under a chiropractor's care and just need an adjustment. She was knowledgeable, empowered (no, "let me check with the doctor and get back to you") and they had an appointment available in less than two hours from when I called. The address is wrong on Yelp. It's at 555 S. Sunset Dr. now. I tried to correct it, we'll see if it takes. The office is warm and light, there are two aquariums which are kind of relaxing. Dr. Tyler was friendly, jovial, warm and thorough. The cool thing about this office is you tell them what works for you, not like some chiropractors who will try to convince you that what you need is what they sell/do. I like deep, thorough hands-on work which is what I got. If you want gentle, they have that too. I felt SO much better when I walked out (headache gone in time for lunch!). In the first appointment with him he tested a bunch of areas that could be contributing to the issues and told me which muscles were too tight or weak and gave me recommendations on how to help them as I go to him for care. He very much cares about educating his patients and setting them up for success, instead of continuing their treatment unnecessarily. He is incredibly friendly, and his office is great, including his staff. The heated back rolling before every appointment is a great relaxing way to ease your back pains. I've been to other chiropractors that were good, but since being recommended to Dr Emmett and seeing him I have told lots of people if they need a chiropractor he is who they should go to.

The sheet they gave me had very little info about what was to be expected after having carpal tunnel, and cubital tunnel surgery. Only what do to after a certain amount of time. The sheet has nothing about what's normal and what's not normal in terms of feeling and or pain issues related to the surgery. I had both surgeries on the same hand at once. This is my dominant hand. I literally felt like I was living in North Korea as he kept bringing up the fact that I kept calling every so often concerned about my surgery. This along with how they treated me, just shows what type of people they are. The fact that I feel like I can't even ask for help and or advice and get info is not normal. It's completely unacceptable as a patient. Surgery is a big decision and affects the rest of my life.

I explained that this was incorrect, as I had already completed an ultrasound elsewhere. I had called the office twice prior to the appointment to confirm that my report had been received, and both times I was told it was on file. However, upon arrival, I was told they did not have the report. Fortunately, I had brought my own copy to provide. While I was attempting to clarify this issue at the front desk, one of the staff members abruptly and loudly stated, "my medical information and history" in front of everyone in the waiting room. This was extremely inappropriate and a clear breach of my privacy, as my personal medical information was shared publicly without my consent. When I calmly expressed that this was unprofessional and not appreciated, the staff members mocked me, closed the privacy screen, and proceeded to make unkind and unprofessional remarks about both me and my husband -- comments that we could still clearly hear through the window. After this, I requested the office manager's contact information, including their name, phone number, and email address, so I could report the incident and resolve the matter properly. The staff refused to provide that information, which I believe is another violation of my rights as a patient and a failure to allow me to report a serious concern. In addition to the privacy breach and unprofessional conduct, the appointment itself was incorrectly scheduled, and I was nearly charged for services that I did not request and should not have been billed for. The entire experience was distressing, unprofessional, and unacceptable for a healthcare environment that is supposed to prioritize confidentiality, respect, and patient care. I then called them about a week later to see if I could get the office managers email and phone number and was refused again. This was insane.

I was very pleased by the care that I received by Dr. Crosby and by the staff that waited on me. I found Dr. Crosby's approach to be highly professional while also being friendly and patient. There was very little discomfort to the procedure, and my healing has been quick and painless. My numerous questions were answered directly, and without any condescension (which sometimes happens with doctors who are asked a lot of questions). I could not have been more pleased, and would highly recommend Dr. Crosby and this practice to anyone with similar dermatological issues.

They're also not using a HIPPA compliment email. They claimed that they were but any email ending in @gmail.com does not have a BAA agreement.
