They dropped residue on the floor and burned places in the floor. They also damaged a hutch and knocked a hole in the wall at the same time. We had broken dishes, scarred, furniture, and worst of all the manager refused to talk to us for a long time. It was a nightmare of a move and we have moved several times. A few things were eventually repaired but not everything like the ceramic angels from our mothers' funerals that were beheaded. They were triple bubble wrapped and also wrapped withh other packing material and nothing else was in the box with them. There was too much damage to write here.

After talking to a dozen or so companies, of which they all wanted some kind of deposit (the other review is wrong), Cool mover just seemed more professional. They were so helpful, I can't recommend them enough. It was hot and humidity and there was never a single complaint. They insisted that they do the moving. They kept saying, "let us lift for you, that is why we are here." LOL Thank you very much.

No other mover didn't provide an emailed, documented quote. There's a reason there's no Yelp reviews. Just fake Google reviews. Worst moving company I ever dealt with. Cancelled my move the day before. They were clearly over booked and tried changing our service from two trucks to one and charge me more. After a brief discussion, they stated they didn't want our business and hung up. Owner was rude and using excuses to get out of our job. AVOID. AVOID.

I had an "easy" move - only moving from the third floor to the first of the same apartment…read morebuilding, but had a great experience with Gouffon Moving. I had called three different moving companies for quotes and they were all ridiculously expensive or already booked. Someone named Taylor was very nice and helpful over the phone and explained that there is a "service fee" (their service fee compared to other moving companies is a little high) but there is NO minimum required hours. Other moving companies have a two hour minimum. This was why I ultimately ended up choosing them. Gill and Shawn (could be misspelling) showed up on time and were fun great guys. They carefully handled everything and hooked up my washer and dryer with no problem. No complaints at all. One of the movers had put a part of my desk that came off in his pocket and forgot it. When I called him to ask about it, he immediately told me as soon as he was finished with his second job he would return it and he did. No complaints, would highly recommend them!

Unfortunately the general manager did not handle this well from an emotional standpoint. He was quite abrasive in dealing with us during this adverse situation. He ultimately got the reschedule done but did want to charge a 15% fee to do it. I never saw this in the signed contract but I agreed to pay half just to be done with it and him. I would only use this company again if I had a DIFFERENT contact than him.

Most places didn't even call back as promised, but Jason said just to bring it in for him to get the job done ASAP. His team went above and beyond and even fixed the dash A/C that hasn't worked in years! To top it all off, I asked him to check my back wheel as it was making a clanked sound when I drove. To everyone's surprise, it was loose and it was a lug nut stuck in between the dual wheels! He didn't charge for that, and I feel he was more than reasonable with his prices. He even had me go pick up the RV and trusted me enough to pay the bill weeks later. Jason is a stand up guy and I now have a trusted local mechanic to work on my RV.

Great company with great people…read more I switched to Five Star after watching their driver in our neighborhood (Foxfire) for several weeks. He is very efficient in his work, running from truck to trash cans and back. He greets everyone he sees and always with a smile. On my morning walk one day, I saw an older woman trying to get her trash can down the steep driveway, to the curb. The driver ran up the hill, brought the can down and dumped it, and ran it back up the hill and was laughing and talking with her the whole time. What a great asset this guy is to the company. The icing on the cake is that their price is well below any of the competitors.
