Very responsive, kind and competitive pricing. Arrived, opened the back of the truck and used a blower to clean all the debris and GLASS into my parking lot, never cleaned it up. Could learn some handling techniques of antiques, quite rough with my grandfather clocks, 1 person bear hugged them & tried to move alone. I'm sure they're just not aware how to handle those. They are very accommodating & he's able to work within your budget and I greatly appreciate the military discount. read more

First the good: Omar is very personable and quoted a very reasonable price. It fell in the middle of the other quotes I got. Showed up with a 3-man crew and got right to work. However, I didn't get the feeling the crew spoke much English and Omar kept going in and out during the packing. I went over several items that I didn't want moved as I was planning to either donate or dispose of them. Well it all went on the truck and got moved to my new address. And plenty of things that should have been moved never made it in the truck. Now I have to hire someone else to dispose of the unwanted items and then move the ones that got left behind. In the end I was charged $1000 more than what was quoted. Deeply disappointed. read more

We were looking for a large items only, primarily furniture, moving service from LaFollette to Knoxville. Omar responded quickly to my inquiry and uses a simple pricing model, which made it easy to understand and estimate the cost of our move. They showed up on time, brought plenty of materials to wrap and secure our items, and the three-man crew he brought was efficient, strong, had a great sense of humor, and above all, was exceptionally kind. You can tell by observing that they work well together and all enjoy working with each other. Omar brought an additional crew member and another truck that we hadn't discussed beforehand, but he honored the original quote based on the level of service we expected to need. My wife found this guy's a few months back and we got to use them again today for our second move and they did really well just like the first time. I am not sure why our post that reviews didn't get up last time but this guys are good they well priced they were at a decent time and the quality of all is almost of a major mover which I appreciated our furniture was wrapped are belongings were placed correctly. Most of all their communication was on point and that's really hard to come by these days. I really wish them well and I recommend them. I'll give them a four now but next time I'm around I'm sure I'll be able to give them a five read more

HIGHLY!!!! RECOMMEND!!!! Omar and his team were efficient, organized, and courteous. They moved our 2 BR unit on the second floor to the new unit on the 3rd floor in only 3 hours. That's insane, it was so quick! Not to mention how professional and friendly he and his team were. I will tell EVERYONE I know to hire Star Services for their moving needs. I found this guy's on Apple Maps somehow and they were great for the most part. I think they're a great service. If you're trying to keep your cost a little lower, they did everything that a bigger moving company would do. They wrapped all my furniture from what I could tell, it was well done nothing in my long broke. They were here a little bit behind, but the guy that helped us with the move, kept communicating the whole time which is very helpful. read more
