Griffin fence replaced 100 feet of fencing between my neighbor's house and created a new gate. The crew worked really hard in the recent heat and got the project done in 2 days time with minimal fuss and they cleaned up very nicely when complete. They also created some privacy on an older portion of our fence, which they did not build, but adding batten. Griffin handled everything from permitting to flagging utilities so it was very smooth for us. We recommend them highly! read more

Griffin Fence replaced my broken-down, insecure residential chain link fence with a gleaming new one -- taller, gap-free, and constructed of high quality materials. I chose them based on uniformly positive recommendations in a neighborhood Facebook group from neighbors who'd hired them. I was not looking for a cheap fence, but rather, a proper one: Hiring a fly-by-night gang of fencers would have cost less in the short run, I'm sure, but it would have been a false economy and a continuing headache. I dealt with Mr. Ruben Zarco, a consummate professional who helped me plan the project with smart advice that helped me make cost-effective choices regarding the details. The detailed quote he produced had no trouble getting the required approval from my HOA. The two laborers who did the work knew their jobs and worked efficiently and skillfully together. The long business history of the company, together with the skill with which its personnel completed this project, give me confidence that my new fence will provide my house and backyard with a high degree of physical security, 24/7/365, with a lifespan probably measured in decades. read more

I have been using this company for fencing for many years, since the 1970s. Because I have had dogs for many years, I've had to be very particular about the kind of fencing I've used at our homes. Griffin fence has always provided what I needed and worked with me for satisfactory results. It's true that "good fences, make good neighbors" and there's nothing worse than having your beloved pets escape from a bad fence bothering neighbors and perhaps being hurt as well. We recently moved into a new home, and had the fence replaced and had the pool and raised garden beds fenced off from our dogs. As soon as I narrowed down what I needed and wanted, the fencing crew was here on time and went to work without any issues. They worked tirelessly in very inclement weather to finish up the job, and didn't disturb us or our other workers at all. They were never intrusive or in the way and did a great job on the fencing. It looks fabulous, and I'm sure we'll get many many years of great use out of it. One thing I can say for absolute certainty, is that this company knows how to build a secure fence to keep dogs safe and safely confined. Thanks so much read more

I could have hired a handyman to do the work for less, but I wanted a beautiful fence. The whole project was done in 2 days and it is as straight and level as any fence I've ever seen. It's sturdy and well-built. The installers cleaned up everything when they left and I'm very impressed. I will hire them again. read more

I replaced cedar fence in back yard and iron fence in front yard. Salesperson Scott Andrews very professional and helpful. He understood exactly what I wanted! We opted to install 3 inch iron poles for more stability. They took 2 days to install my cedar fence. My iron fence was custom made with a puppy fence and took one week to completely install. They were supposed to complete next week but finished one week early! That rarely happens. Pricing was reasonable given the high quality of their work. 25 perfect deposit and extra 3 percent charge if using credit card. One year warranty. Highly recommended! read more

Griffin Fence was incredibly responsive to our needs, working with all 3 neighbors of ours for a shared fence project. Their team secured the permit from the city, all signatures required, and both tore down the old fences and installed the new 8' fencing within just a few days. Our plants and flower beds on all sides weathered the process well. Would highly recommend them. read more

I've had the pleasure of using Griffin Fence for multiple commercial projects, repairing a rolling gate and the electronics, fencing a new area, and repairing gates on existing fencing. Every project was done professionally and within a fair and reasonable budget. I am totally pleased with their services, and could not ask for a better experience. My business was on Tanner Rd. in Houston near them, and they are a valuable resource and business partner when needed. read more

Literally the worst experience we have had. We used Griffin a few years ago for our back fence and called them this summer to do our side fence. The fence (which is lovely, but is not a result of the company. The contractors were great!) was completed in June 2024. They neglected to complete our neighbor's gate, saying they would come back. Due to the storms in July, the gate is STILL not finished. Sorry your business exploded and you have grown at astronomical rates. We became worthless to them because they had much bigger jobs. In the three and a half months we have been waiting for them to finish the project, our neighbor had a generator installed. Now, they have to have a welder come out because there is a gas line, which more than doubles the cost of the gate. Bottom line - if you actually get someone out to do your job, don't let them leave until it is COMPLETELY finished or it never will be. If this had been done in a timely fashion, the gas line wouldn't have been there and the extra cost wouldn't fall on us (our neighbor is elderly). My husband has called twice a week since June and it is always an excuse. We won't be using or recommending them. read more

I was really hoping to be a repeat customer of Griffin Fence as they did a nice job on our previous fence. You would think they would enjoy having a repeat customer, but I was wrong. Horrible customer service. I called Griffin fence to get a quote and they said someone would call me. I received a call from David while I was at work n he called me 10plus time I wish he had a basic understanding just to call once and leave a message. Once I called him back after work and explained him someone from grffin had already come and taken measurement and they don't work there any more so he agreed I could just send him measurements for the fence n he would give me the price by next day. I provided him with all the info he needed and he kept texting me saying I wouldn't like the price he will give me. And NOW he is TOOO busy for a week and won't be giving me prices. I have no idea why he reacted from being helpful to being rude within just a hour. Please read the messages attached- all he had to do was give me the quote as he promised he would. I would NOT even recommend anyone calling this place and deal with frustration when there are millions of other companies who will treat their customer with respect. read more

We hired Griffin Fence to replace our old fence. I am very pleased with their quality work with competitive price. Highly recommend!

I have had two residential metal gates installed by this company in the past year. Big mistake. The actual quality of the work was fine, but twice I had big unresponsive problems from them. It took over a month to start the install after they had the deposit and said it would be in the next week. If I hadn't constantly pestered them, they wouldn't have installed late when they did. Then they installed a fence in July 2024 that had a keypad gate lock, which was pricey, but necessary for security. The lock lasted 5 months. I contacted them, and have recontacted them 4 times since, and get put off with "checking on the lock's warranty." First, that would take about a minute. Secondly, it's obvious that they don't stand by the products they install even after just 5 months. Their unresponsiveness and unprofessionalism is really the worst of any home repair/improvement or contractor I've ever dealt with. There are plenty of other great fence companies around. I'd avoid this business like a plague. read more

We were looking for a reputable company with good reviews. Griffin fence lived up to their reputation and did excellent work. Not the cheapest, but I would highly recommend if you want the peace of mind that comes with a real fence company and not a handyman. read more

I had a generator installed recently and wanted to make it more secure by having a fence installed. It was only about 18 feet of fence in total but it was in a very tight space. It involved setbacks, gas lines, the generator itself, etc. Griffin Fence was able to figure out how to make it work. It took a lot of creative thinking to make it happen. Griffin Fence was wonderful! read more

So, we have had a truly amazing experience with Griffin Fencing. The company should be recognised with praise for excellent interpersonal services and really, overall, an excellent company to have worked with. Lee and his team, Almardo and his team and Angel were amazing from a sales design prospective to the physical hard intense labor to achieve a most beautiful fence and operated gate. Not to forget last but definitely not least, the recommended company that Griffin Fencing used to install the gate opener. FANTASTIC!! Thank you so much GriffIn Fencing! I had Griffin Fence install a driveway gate and short fence when I had my house built. The quality of the work was pretty good but the company seriously misrepresented the quality of the gate opener and replacement parts. I have had to have the gate opener repeatedly repaired and put in a supposedly "non-rusting" chain (twice) that has immediately rusted. Griffin Fence supervisors/managers are hard to get a hold of and have misrepresented their products. However, the service personnel who come out to do the work on both the mechanism and the fence have done a great job. read more

very poor customer service. called these guys due their reviews online and the guy who answered (david) said he is interested to give a bid when he got home. he ask me to send the other bid from competitor so he could review the scope of work so i sent along the exact bid with some of my own questions, points if clarity, etc. The below is his reply and self explanatory quote Thank You Sir, Good luck getting Shane to warranty anything - He uses subcontractor's for all his work. His contract specifically states NO WARRANTY IMPLIED. His $1100.00 iron driveway gate is CARBON STEEL, NOT GALVANIZED STEEL and it is a BASIC GATE - NO finials, puppy bars or anything else that you are suggesting. He does not build anything himself, he subs it out. My price on this job would be $10,995.00. I will get you a detailed bid if you are interested, but there is no need to waste each other's time if you are not interested in quality and our price. Thank you, David Lisner I Griffin Fence unquote my reply below : quote Not sure what sparked that response. The sales rep seemed professional and provided a bid. He saw everything on site. However, he wouldn't respond to emails with photos asking for clarifications. When the crew showed up to do the work after a 10 week wait (was told 6-8 weeks), the price increases began. The bid was a contract I had to sign, but just "a suggestion" to Griffin Fence. "Unforeseen job site conditions" - which means the salesman and the construction crews are not on the same page. Heading of the contract says "Integrity, Service, Professionalism". That was not our experience. read more

We have used Griffin twice and had a great experience. We have used them for fence and for metal gate. The sales team was great and the installers were professionals and knew what they were doing. Very punctual and committed crew! It's been close to 2 yrs and it's still in excellent condition.. no sign of rusting .. whatsoever!

Called them two weeks ago to see about getting an estimate on a fence. It was after hours, so I left a voicemail with all of the pertinent information (name, number, request). A day goes by, I hear nothing back. So two days after I left the message, I called the number again and spoke with a very unenthusiastic woman about what I was after. She took down my information and told me that one of the sales reps would be in contact with me. Here we are two weeks later, and I still haven't heard a word. The project has already been completed by a competitor, and I still haven't even gotten so much as a phone call yet. No, thank you. read more

I did not expect such poor customer service from Griffin Fence! BUT, I GUESS THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN PUTTING UP NEW FENCES , NOT PROVIDING SERVICE TO THEIR EXISTING CUSTOMERS. Griffin Fence installed an eight foot cedar fence and a wrought iron gate around our pool in 2010. At the time I was pleased with the work and would have recommended them to friends and family. Since then we have had problems with the gates and I have not been able to repair them myself and want to get them fixed to make sure the pool area is secure. I have contacted Griffin several times and they do not even bother to call back to speak with me about the problem. I am not expecting them to do the work for free, I only want them to come out and see what needs to be done to fix the problem so that the pool area is secure. read more

Used for my residence. Responsive, great quality work, very efficient, and at a good cost! Very happy with my new fence

Excellent work completed on time when promised. Rates comparable to other reputable companies.

After 2 months' research and getting estimates from 3 different companies, Griffin Fence came in with a very competitive bid and, more importantly, responded quickly to tele calls and email questions. We worked with John Barclay from the start who provided extensive information about the company, the materials and what to expect in the process. And John came back to talk personally with each of the 2 neighbors who were sharing in the expense of a new wood fence to make sure all of their wishes were met. The Griffin team took 3 days to remove the existing wood fence, most of which was covered with unwieldy vines, and install nearly 200 linear feet of fence. The finished product showed their attention to detail and pride of workmanship. Everything was hauled off and extra large branches/debris that the team couldn't haul off on the final day was picked up by Griffin the following day. Griffin Fence has earned the full 5-stars because of their excellent communication (John Barclay was easily accessible and responded immediately to our questions throughout the process), the quality of materials used, and the fine workmanship. Thank you to the Griffin Team! The new fences have provided extra privacy and have transformed our yards. read more

The end results is a great fence, getting there not so great their rep Mark easy to talk with BUT make sure all T;s crossed I's dotted, they started the day on the wrong side of my home ripping out a good fence, stop them and had them work on correct side of yard they left some trash and I tried getting them to put in a deck as well, BUT they do not do decks as they were very pricey for the tear out of my old deck, my neighbor loved the end job as do I but getting there is a BE-A-WARE. read more
